I woudn't say your NT wasn't trying, they did, but it was absolutely useless..Long balls, crosses just didn't work and it seemed like Arena don't care about it at all..shame that Reyna's shot didn't finish in the net, it could've been more interesting..

This game proved that Czechs are among the favourites this year..

This was not the same US squad I saw back in 02, this was not the same squad I saw through qualifying. There was no spirit in their game and after the 1st goal by koller after 5 min, they became dispirited and succumbed to defeat.

Shame about Reyna's shot, it really could have lifted morale.

It's typical of the 2002 team to score first early and try to play around with their lead, so if you beat them to that, the game is almost over...

Very good match so far, Ghana taking it to the Italians. Toni is a monster, sure making life hard for the defenders.

Credit to Ghana though, they are not giving in to the Italians. I will be surprised if they dont score at least 1 goal.

The refs in the whole tournament simply suck! Now a clear throw in for Italy went to Ghana's favour. The Ghanians can complain about a penalty incident a little earlier, but as I saw in the replay there's no contact, more like a dive. At first sight, I even stood up and almost yelled at the ref for not giving it

De Rossi is seriously taking years off my life playing so reckless. Although his class can be seen by a blind man, I think I might actually miss Gattuso.
