To be honest, I hope Sweden get trashed in the next two matches. I don't have any bad feeling towards them, but I fear that if they do well, someone in Italy will try and say we weren't so bad after all, it's just that they were good.

I feel the same way about Sweden. The Korean media needs to realize how much more shit Korea were than an average Sweden side.

The SK coach was making a huge fuss about his super-secret tactic against Sweden. As I mentioned, he continued to recycle bench players in friendlies to, in his words, "trick" the Swedes about who he would be starting. Which doesn't work if he tells the media right after the game that it was a trick. Our last friendly was closed-doors, presumably so no journalists, scouts etc. would be allowed. But he still refused to try out his secret plan, because he was dead certain that Senegal's coach would give a video to Sweden of our highly sophisticated tactical plan. Whatever.

It turns out that the super-secret plan was to launch long balls for the first 15 minutes (which makes sense, obviously, since Sweden are known for playing midgets in defense) and then park the bus for the rest of the game (which also makes sense, since Berg and Toivonen are known for their blistering pace on the break).
