I'm not Simone hater, I think he evolved so much these last years as a coach, and I'd be devastated if he left next season. I wouldn't change him for anyone tbh.

It is normal to change your opinion with time. I'm not gonna hit my head against a wall just to never admit that I was wrong before.

I also in the beginning of the season wanted Fratessi to be the starter, but Miki won me over, I'm not shying away from the fact that ballsy players like Fratessi are my favs in general. But even against my personal preferences, I'd start Miki in our midfield over Fratessi in this system we are playing, given Mikis form and the way he plays.

Having said all this, I can never ever count that as a Miki assist.

He wasn't that bad honestly, just gassed at the end and he was evidently not really happy with how we were playing at the back, so he tried to do too much without having the lung capacity for it and it made him perform worse.

Bad last 20 minutes, but decent game overall.

Far from it. He was almost flawless besides a 5-min meltdown in the dying minutes.

What is it with Inzaghi and running certain old players into the ground. It’s always the guys in their mid 30s too. Dzeko, Mkhi, Acerbi. These guys never get a day off, then we wonder why injuries pop up or they start to look like absolute dog shit towards the end of the season.

We rotate guys in their physical prime like Bastoni and Barella constantly, yet somehow the old folks home can’t even sit against relegation battlers. Makes no sense.

I’m not even mad at Mkhi, I feel closer to him needing an apology if anything.

With that being said we HAVE to move on from him playing 3000 minutes next season.
