How great it is to see Crespo back in the team, lol he's definitely one of the best goal poachers in the world and that is a fact.

crespo is oh so important to the way inter plays

when hes in the team, they actually try to play through teams defenses

when hes not there, inter push the ball wide and still have noone at the far post looking for a header

Crespo: "I trust Nelson Rivas"
Tuesday, 18 September 2007 11:23:35

MALPENSA - As a striker, Hernan Crespo knows all about defenders. "I trust Nelson Rivas," said the Argentine of his Colombian team-mate at Milan's Malpensa airport this morning. "If he has been bought by a great club like Inter it means he's a good player and will do well. He might not have been expecting to play so early on but he will certainly want to show his worth. He's calm and focused."

Looking ahead to Inter's Champions League Matchday 1 clash with Fenerbahce, Crespo added: "It will be a very hard match but we are confident and we know what we have to do. Our strength is the squad and this strength will help us overcome difficult situations like those we might encounter tomorrow night."

Crespo played sixty Serie A minutes at the weekend, scoring Inter's first in the 2-0 win over Catania. "It was important for me to gain match fitness," he said. "The goal against Catania certainly gave me strength but I'm never satisfied because you always like scoring goals. The coach will decide who plays in Istanbul, and I am always available to play from five to ninety minutes."

great words from Crespo to cheer Rivas and the rest of the team ahead of the Istanbul clash

^^happened again today.
Crespo starting draws defenders away from zlatan. more than suazo does. of course im not saying crespo is responsible for zlatan's performances, but the team works better with a super-accurate sniper and a support striker.
suazo just isnt up there.

Ibra and Crespo is our most inform strikers that's for sure.

Zlatan has 6 goals and 2 assist in 5 matches.
Crespo has 1 goal and 1 assist in two matches.

The rest of our forwards have nothing but youtube clips.

It should be him and Ibra vs Roma. I hope Suazo get's some time too. Mancini is treating him very unfairly atm.

Unfairly? Suazo hasn't impressed me at all so far, except for maybe 1 or 2 pre-season games. All he has demonstrated so far is that he has pace, but that's pretty much it. Perhaps Mancini wasn't impressed with him in training either.

Anyways, there's no way Suazo should be ahead of Crespo in the picking order.

He is a quality investment which we spent a lot of money for. He's been given 114 minutes in Serie A and already he's in the stands. That's unbelievably harsh. Usually you give new players(of Suazo's quality) at least five or six starts before you even start thinking about benching them.

MHH not in a team like inter!! We just can t start him if he s not preforming when we have Crespo and a recovering adri on the bench.
If Mancini keeps on starting Suazo and he does not preform all interistas will get more then mad at him and also we ll start to dislike suazo.
I think the only problem suazo still has is the inderstanding with he s team mates. He just has to be patient and keep on training with the squad and he ll get he s chances. No doubt about that.
