So, who did we exactly sell to collect funds for Hernanes? Guarin? Icardi? Or maybe these 400k euro from Belfodil loan made the deal?

All of these were just speculations, in fact it was hard to believe that extra wealthy man buying one of the biggest clubs in the world will just sit and wait for something to happen.

He's cup-tied so there was no actual competition for him, he wanted to leave and his contract was expiring in 2016 afaik. My guess is that fee is quite lower than 20mil

Yes, that's the man I also immediately thought off but for different reasons.

Palacio was paid(for Inter standards of late) a pretty solid sum. And he delivered big time, some may say that deal looks like a bargain now.

Hernanes is even more expensive than Palacio was so the standard for his expected perfomances is pretty damn high.

And I often repeated that I can not blame some of the players for their individual perfomances while being coached by utter morons, but Palacio performed despite that,

And you are a fool to laugh because those are all cold hard facts and numbers.

Thohir obviously took even more risk with this transfer and the possible ramifications are:

1)selling other high priced assets to cover for losses in the summer
2)Thohir covering our asses
or
3)finding a way to make huge money and do it fast. Getting a CL spot, doing some wonders in the marketing department or something....

Even if you don't believe in FFP you need to realize the severity of the situation. When people say that we are making 60M losses(now to be even bigger) it means that our players wouldn't be able to collect their paychecks every month if Thohir wasn't pumping his own money to cover for us.

Feel free to google it up what happens when owners decide not to give a shit about such clubs anymore or their money dries up.
