Well if we hadn't sell him, you think they would have gotten Goetze/Isco in that case? Hernanes was a panic buy especially because they couldn't get those better players. If he hadn't sell, who would they have got? Not someone better than Hernanes for sure. We selling Hernanes to Juve definitely didn't block Juventus getting better player. It was other reasons why they didn't get that better player.

edit. Not that I'm against selling Hernanes for that price (biggest bonus is we get rid of that 3-year 3m€ per contract).

Day of presentation for Hernanes, the new Juventus player. The former Inter is leading the press conference in Vinovo, and of course also makes references to his recent past in Milan: “I am surprised but happy to be here, there are many beautiful things to build.”

Inevitably he was asked about his words on the day of the presentation for Inter, which emphasized the fact that the club has never been in Serie B, and Il Profeta replied a little embarrassed: “I said it because I felt, when I started playing, that the first thing that I didn’t want was the Serie B. We were fighting to avoid relegation, so it seemed like a nice thing for me to emphasize this. I said it, but now it is over. I am happy and content now and will emphasize the positive points of Juve which has always won in every sense and will continue to win. I hope I can help.”

Wonder if he believes it himself.

Last time I watch him, he got so fat lol but still scoring.. Maybe his fitness issues made jube taken back..
I dont know what happen to their mercato, clearly money is not their issue..

I think he's gonna do well. He has a better midfield to play with and it means he won't have to work as hard as he did here where he tried to dribble past everyone because we couldn't do shit.

hm where did you get that from?
his words were:

“I said it because I felt it. No one had told me to say it. It seemed nice (not being in B ever), because it was a positive thing. When I started playing as a professional, I have always thought that I would never go in Serie B and i fought not to go there. Now that I’m here, I’ll bring out in the light the positive things that are in this club, that has won and will continue to win. I hope to help them win more.”

88 pages... I can't recall a proper through ball from this fucker. Good riddance. Hogs the ball and is slow - death to the counter also in possession he's pretty much useless bar his shooting and FKs and that just isn't enough to justify his wage. Don't get me wrong tho, I like the guy but he just didn't work for us and he most surely won't do for them either.

I respect his comments. A lot of players try to go back on what they said but I like how he admitted that he said it was positive for Inter not to have been in B because he himself felt that way. And the battling relegation comment was mistranslated, he didn't say Inter were battling relegation.

I doubt he will be a flop. With the people he's now got around him and a coach that will actually play him in his desired position he is more likely to be a success thete and as I stated in an earlier post I fear we may have given Juve a solution to their midfield problems.

I don't think he knows what his desired position is. When he was at Lazio he said he wanted to be a CM while being played at trequartista. Now he says he wants to be trequartista.

After Cannavaro it's Hernanes that went to Rube...was there anyone else between?! Can't remember...

Lucio did, but only after we released him.

Our treble winner, the great defender, Lucio, if free agent count. He became a cunt after joining JuBe and bad mouth Inter.

Everybody that joins becomes a cunt if he is a long enough time there with a few exceptions like Buffon,Pirlo and erm...maybe Evra.
Hernanes is a good guy and I hope he stays that way like Buffon and Pirlo.
I hope he can avoid the Inter dissing...

Well he's saying trequartista because Juve need a trequartista and have clearly signed him to be one. I think it's where he's best too in fairness.
