I think we'd be better off keeping Livaja with the first team he seems more versatile than Longo.

Since I'm bored let me sum up my opinion from the game:

1. Castellazzi: couple saves in the first half, was having a coffee break in the second half.
2. Maicon: not the real Maicon yet, but he played better than the entire last season, not to mention this is his first game.. (isn't it?)
3. Silvestre: did his job, nothing much. would need to face better strikers in real matches to evaluate
4. JJ: was bit nervous in the beginning, settled well. Wasn't bad as a LB in the second half. Still need to go on loan for experiences.
5. Nagatomo: made quite a number of mistakes, I was bit disappointed with him honestly.
6. JZ: no comment.
7. Cuchu: apart from the goal, he was quite invisible and overshadowed by Gaby.
8. Gaby: did what I expected from him, winning balls like 60-70% of time? not so sure about percentage, covering lots of grounds.
9. Wesley: the real Wesley with some badass passes, need more consistency in the long run.
10. Coutinho: one of the creative force in the midfield, connected well with Wesley, did some with Maicon, covering left mid and right. He is the future.
11. Palacio: did what he supposed to do. The right man at the right place to score but I expected more creativity from him. Not disappointing, just expecting more from him.
12. Samuel: didn't have much to work, was probably having a coffee break with Castellazzi.
13. Duncan: as a primavera graduate, he is not bad at all though losing couple of balls. He needs more experiences though. I hope being one of the most favourable primavera players by Strama could give him more chances to play an easier game or when we're comfortably winning.
14. Milito: err.. typical Milito which will invite 'Fuck Milito' from many FIF members.
15. Livaja: looks better behind a striker than as CF. delivered some good passes. Would prefer him than Longo. He indeed offers more.
16. Joni: was quite disappointed with him. I only remember him making passes to Silvestre and Castellazzi or try to dribble passing the opponents which were :palm: If it was a better opponent, we would suffer more threats or probably some goals down his line.
17. I didn't pay much attention on the newcomers, don't even remember which one is which: Acampora, Bianchetti, Benassi, and Forte. However, Benassi showed some promising stuffs, more than the rest.

Agree to disagree.

You're welcome. (stealing Fitztyle)

Milito looking more like a vice-Palacio tbh.

INTER, HERE COME THE SALUTE OF MAICON AND EURO PALACIO

The Brazilian hugs his teammates: on the way out?
The Argentinian scores two goals, Sneijder also shines.

Locarno They are the fantastic three: Palacio, Sneijder and Coutinho. But there is a fourth, and let’s talk about him. His name is Maicon Douglas and when he left the game 20 minutes after the break, he saluted the fans in the stands and he did so with affection and emotion. He also gave a big hug to Jonathan, to Stramaccioni a high-five. It is unclear whether that was them saying goodbye or ready to start a new chapter. As of today, the situation of Maicon is on standby (Mourinho has always been his goal), but there are those hypotheses of a permanent stay. On the UEFA player list, he is there. So again, it remains to be seen if the scene yesterday was of joy or it was a “thank you everybody, I salute you all.”

Dynamic trio In all of this, the last game before Vaslui went well: there was rhythm, there was speed. Palacio started as the first striker (or the vice Milito) which would become a real solution if the Pazzini-Cassano exchange goes ahead. There is no doubt that El Trenza is doing very well. Stramaccioni took some notes just like Mourinho and in that notebook it said Palacio got two goals and an assist. With him, there were both Sneijder and Coutinho. The discussion is really simple: when these three have in hand an arsenal, well, everything is looser, more effective, especially more dangerous. It is clear that Palacio, Coutinho, and Sneijder could (and should) play behind Milito but it is equally clear that right now Strama prefers a midfield of three and that formation (with three players behind a striker) should be set aside for now. So now what? It is unclear that Strama will do but this is clear: Sneijder is first class, Coutinho is in form and has characters, Palacio decides games. The decision will come in the next few days before the game on Thursday.

Castellazzi, and bravo Mudingayi Another indication came from the goalkeeper position: all 90 minutes for Castellazzi. The coach has decided to focus on experience. Vid Belec did not see the field against Bizertin and so everything suggests that in Romania, the starter will be Castellazzi. Let’s talk midfield. Cambiasso did well for his goal, precision, and the ability to manage traffic. But Mudingayi did very well. The former Bologna player is playing for the opportunity of a lifetime and every time he sees the field, well, he impresses. He is tough, knows how to recover a lot of balls, provides support to the team. In short, he is an acquisition that the team can rely on. Zanetti did not run too much but in Romania, it will be a different story. While Silvestre is improving in the back.

To be completed At the end of the game, Strama said that by the 26, someone will come and this team is on its way to completion. Perfect sentence that tells the intensity that is going on at Inter for the last days of the transfer market. The priorities are a left back, a midfield, and a vice Milito. But the idea of Cassano remains: very difficult, very complicated, but it is there. But the question is about Maicon: does he stay or leave?

I didn't see the match. But from what I hear here, Cambiasso and Jonathan are our worst players on the field. Imagine Gargano instead of Cambiasso and Maicon (Zanetti) instead of Jonathan. That would give this team at least 10% (or more) more class.

Jonathan isn't Inter material and Cambiasso sucks for 2 years now. What happened to Chuchu? He isn't that old..

There's that term again... 'Inter material'

I recall the hate from 90% of FIF when it was evident that Palacio and Mudingayi were to join Inter. These two have been very good for Inter (so far).

So are they now 'Inter material' ? Not many wanted them here before they joined, so based on that they could not possibly have been 'Inter material'... or could they ?
