This game is on Wednesday, and it will be the last game behind closed doors. According to UEFA, this fine against us was the biggest ever given, since it cost us around 7 M Euros.

I heared that during the Inter-Parma game, but I don't have a source. If that is true, then it was a huge loss for us.

About the game, I want us to go back to 4-4-2, regardless of whoever is playing.

Figo came off, so I expect him to start as RW, and Stan as LW. Cruz shouldn't start this game, or any other for that matter. He should be use as a sub.

I'd go for a Recoba -- Adriano duo for this one.

Damn....7 m eurus! And we should thank all those stupid fans for that :finger:
I also want to see Recoba - Adriano
We should win this, no matter how much..even 4-0 or 7-1 can do :p

Adriano - #10
I'm hoping for an offensive shakeup in the form of having Adriano and Martins start upfront with Recoba behind him. Then we could go with something as such.

---------Adriano-------------Martins

-------------------Recoba

------Figo--->--Cambiasso---<Veron

Figo and Veron would alternate sides while Cambiasso would play farther back. I'd rather Samuel and Cordoba in the middle for extra stability. Our offense needs a shakeup and this would be a great way to freshen things up. Or atleast a 4-3-3.

-----------Recoba------------Adriano-------------Martins

-----------Veron-------------Cambiasso----------L. Figo

-----Favalli---------Samuel------------Cordoba--------J. Zanetti

-------------------------------J. Cesar

I doubt it will happen, but I can dream...

Bratislava are good, in retrospect, it was good of us to beat them at home.

So a team like that has nothing to lose. They will push forward and leave some space behind.

We should close our flanks with wingers, and have a playmaker with a good long pass to capitalize.

Also, Samuel is a must, he will provide some speed over Materazzi, and most importantly more brains.

We only need a point from this game to qualify, but if we get three, then we'll seal out top spot in the group phase and can forget about the UCL and only concentrate on the League for a few months. A comprehensive win will do vey good to our morale, which seems to be on the lower side.

My starting Duo will be Adriano-Martins

A 4-4-2 formation, will Figo on the right and Deki/Solari on the left. I wont mind resting Cordoba for this game, Matrix can patner Samuel at the Center of defence.

Why would Cordoba rest? I don't recall him having an NT duty.

We have to play him and Samuel as much as we can so that they can develop a better chemistry.

I did understand why Mancini might not have played Samuel -- Cordoba yesterday and I hope I am right. the reason could be coz of Samuel's participation in both the friednly games for Argentina last week. But now, it's just the time to play the duo and get them ready for the Milan game.

Stankovic should also start this game and it would be good for us if we just start with one player from Veron/Pizarro. ;)

-------------------- J.Cesar -----------------

J.Zanetti -- Cordoba --- Samuel -- Favalli

L.Figo -- Cambiasso ---- Pizarro --- Stank

-------------- Martins ----- Adriano --------

Veron could be rested; Recoba could start instead of Martins.

Artmedia is a really dangerous team, we must be carefull. ;)

Anyway, this is what I'd like to see:

-------------------- J.Cesar -----------------

J.Zanetti -- Cordoba --- Samuel -- Favalli

L.Figo -- Cambiasso ---- Pizarro --- Stank

-------------- Chino ----- Adriano --------

Is this the last match of our stupid ban? :fero:

Yes, I think it's the last game with the ban...

I really cant understand why you guys want Pizarro to play when we got a fresh Veron?!
I would like to see the same team as interista7 Only Veron to play insted of the wierd Pizarro!

We need to start with the same lineup that we will be using to push to close the gap in the next 4 games...You must remember that we will face Milan soon, and the last thing we need is to have a problem of players not gelling for that game.

if our strikers keep on firing blanks i wud like to see a 5-man midfield.

atleast true midfielders wud be better than pseudo-midfielders (i.e. our forwards who try to imitate as midfielders) :p

Am I wrong or do we only need 1 point out of this to go through?

If so, I'd really suggest we play some reserves, Burdisso for example, surely Recoba.

I think we should rest a few players, I know we are not 100% through the group stage but since a draw will be enough, I believe it would be better to have our great players rested and concentrate on the championship.
With this I do not mean we should be happy with a draw, because we should not!
I believe that even with the rest of some of our great players Victory is an high probability.
Let's hope I'm right.

Let's thrash them with a full team and keep morale high. If I'm correct, we will secure first place by winning this match. Then next match we can play an entire reserve team, or let Mancio play around with his tactics ;)

A draw might be good enough but I'd still like win and make sure we're through. Rangers have been in terrible form in the SPL but it might be a must-win game for them when we go there in roughly 2 weeks.

I'd like too see our best possible team for this one, or at least close to it. Samuel-Cordoba need to start playing together too like Hamed said.

Cesar
JZ Samuel Cordoba Favalli
Figo Cambiasso Piza Deki
Adriano Oba

I dont agree Hamed that Bartislava has nothing to lose, actually they'd be crazy if they were offensivly in this game, cause their loss means either Porto or Rangers will go ahead of them, so i believe they will be more reserved and fight for one point.

I would like to see Recoba and Adriano, Recoba goes little bit back and play as ROnahldino in the brazilian NT and support Adriano or shoots from the outside box,

Taking into consideration that BRatislava will be more reserve fighting for a point, i dont see a big opportunity for Martins in this game, I would field Solari and Figo on the wings, and Veron - CZ in the midfield,

if we play our game, its gonna be easier than Parma, however with INTER< you never KNOW ;)

Forza inter,

i wont mind Burdisso playing in place of Materazzi ... but not any change in midfield.

if we end up losing this one ... it wud be a high pressure match at Ibrox just before the derby.

we certainly dont need that ... as it is we r not scoring goals anyway ... so chances of banging a few in and then taking of the prima d  nnas look non-existant

as Ziyad Mentioned we should stick to a fixed starting 11 and stop rotating players for a while, spiecilly with the way juve is playing right now, we need to catch up.

mancini should select the best in form players.

my impression of some of you gays that the game will be an easy one. but even if it is we should play our best team which should start every coming match. it will be good for them to understand each other.
