5.8 is close to an average rating and it was kinda an almost good, average performance

it's not like he had a crazy assist or hockey assist compared to some other games or was everywhere

most of Hakan ratings are also rated under 7

Mistakes aren't only found on misplaced passes or losing his mark defensively.

He was all over the place tactically and he evidently got irritates that he was "ignored " by his teammate and called for the ball all the freaking time, even if 9/10 times he was in the wrong place, his runs were done in the wrong lanes pretty much disrupting his teammates carrying the ball and he wasn't making himself available at the back so Barella had to jump there (that may have been a tactical decision in the 2nd half).

We won 4-0 in spite of Asllani, not thanks to him. Arnautovic was on a similar note. Both have fighting spirit but Asllani is channeling it in a worse way now and it impedes his performance.

He has talent with the ball at his feet, but as I said, he looks out of his depth there. Everyone else looks like a video game character whereas he's in 2D land when you see him run, receive the ball or try to get in position. Even freaking Dumfries who was this guy - not that extent - is pulling off elasticos in the opposition box So it just looks unfair to the kid.

I hope the coaching staff can help him get his shit together because we need him to step up. And we definitely would prefer to have a leveled up Asllani than seek to loan him and spend more money on a fusion Sensi/Klaassen/Asllani replacement.

Shit this squad is special. Even without Hakan, Acerbi and Thuram we just blew away one of the hottest Italian clubs at the moment. And it probably should have been more like 6 or 7 goals tbh.

I know the season is far from over but Inzaghi has transformed this side into utter juggernauts.
