Sky prediction of our starting 11.

#Inter predicted XI to face Atlético Madrid: Sommer; Pavard, De Vrij, Bastoni; Darmian, Barella, Çalhanoğlu, Mkhitaryan, Dimarco; Thuram, Lautaro.

Let's say that Inter advance to the next round. Will those yellow cards advance to? Or do the players start with a clean state?
I think it is till semifinal, If I remember correctly.

Good question. I think they carry over. Imagine Arnautovic starting in a Champions League knockout match 😭😭😭

Oh baby, it's always a different feeling when we play in the CL, add the fact that we have been flying in almost every department and you can't help but anticipate the big disappointment in store for us, jk jk.

Let's see how Inzaghi approaches this as it's our biggest European game yet and we've mostly been rotating thus far. All I ask for is for whomever is on the pitch to not crumble and just play our usual, extermely awesome, game.

I know them cunts won't make it easy for us.

Quick Google search tells me yellows don't reset until the quarterfinals (next round) are concluded, so if they get booked in any of the next four games (hopefully there's at least four more games!), they're suspended for the following game. So Lauti and Mkhi are gonna be walking the tightest of ropes...Lautaro really has no business getting booked unless he bitches at the referee so I hope he can keep his head.

In this kind of game it will be disaster if we will waste so many chances as our last league game, I don't think we gonna get too much chances against cholo team so we must take every chance or half chance we can get..

Accumulated yellows are only wiped out after the quarter finals.

EDIT - this has already been confirmed multiple times

If we start like against Salernitana, missing 2-3 good chances in first 15-20 minutes,it will not end well.

Logic is there is no way we are favourites against them after one good CL campaign. I don't care how good we are in Serie A,this is a completely new tournament and league results doesn't matter.

League results don't matter but consistency and form matters. Inter has been quite competitive this season, also counting on late part of last season as well. Getting random facts of history won't change the fact that we're favourites because of obvious reasons. In fact, even in encounters against Real Madrid or even Liverpool before a couple of years, we have managed to do quite well for a period but sadly we lacked experience to kill matches of this level.

I feel like this team has grown a lot in term of maturity at the highest level. It won't be easy, of course, but we are favourites here. And I hope that we'll deliver as it's expected.

Inzaghi does not know Atletico style in comparison to serie A teams, so the players will be cautious at the beginning, I guess.
I don't think that we'll attack recklessly like vs Salernitana.

Believe yellows get scrapped after the quarters.
