Somehow, I am not even mad! Let's be realistic, we don't have enough depth! Every day of the week and twice Sunday Vidal-Rakitic-Alena trio is better than Brozo-Vecino-Valero. With Barella and Sensi we might had a bigger chance!

Aleña, Vidal, Rakitic, De Jong, Wague and Pérez are MILES better than Valero, Vecino, Lazaro, Gags, Lazaro, Candreva and Politano.

Our only decent midfielders are Asamoah, Barella, Brozovic and Sensi.

Vecino, Valero, Brozovic, Asamoah, Candreva, Dambrosio, Lukaku, Biraghi ... they don't have enough quality to play here. Any player of any team is able to control a ball and turn around, combine between them, a dribble, etc.

Those cannot, they only know how to pass the ball back so that the centrals make a long pass.

Even the centrals of Barcelona can, even any player from Salzburg, even Slavia. All Roma players do it. Those of Inter no, never.

Do you even check their lineup ? This Barca B has Umtiti, Rakitic, Vidal, Griezmann, Suarez, and De Jong which are at least on par with our starters. And Lenglet is not a random bad player, he is a main defender for Barcelona.

Sucks right now, but taking a higher-level view, it's not surprising to lose to Barca B when starting the likes of Vecino and Borja. Everyone knew we needed another midfielder before we started the season. We did this to ourselves. Let's just focus on the league, get ourselves in pot 1 or 2, and come back with a deeper midfield next year.

I did not like the sub of Esposito, we were doing good and there was still 10 min to go
Also ok to put Lazaro if Candreva and Asamoah are not fit to play but put it on the right and keep Biraghi that was giving more in attack despite been trash

Their reserve team is still arguably better than Lazio and we also basically played with our reserve midfield

Players like politano, current esposito, vecino cant change the game like this.. Martinez and Lukaku did what they could, wothout strong midfield, our goals now are too dependent on them.

On paper, we can still beat fiorentina and Genoa with this midfield and hopefully napoli..

I’m not surprised with this result at all, not even disappointed even I took day off from work to watch this shit.

We all knew that midfield is our worst part of the team and in this game we had 4 out of 5 midfield players straight from reserve. Problem is that 3 of them (Vecino, Borja, Biraghi) aren’t good enough, they’re simply players with disabilities.

I’m happy that we have smart coach who will not tolerate this crap from directors.
