Did anyone see Suarez’ goal against Mallorca? Wow.

Messi had a banger as well and got a hattrick. Look to be in really good form right now. Hopefully they’re rested

yeah, we need them to skip this game

We will see on the pitch a lot of their benchers, but if we think that'll make things easy, we won't win.

First off, many of their benchers are as good as our starters, in some cases better than them.

Second, it will be the perfect match for them to earn themselves a spot in the starting eleven in the future.

Last but not least though, it's better this way: we will face an opponent which will give its best, and beating it is how you deserve to advance to the knockout stage.

If INTER can't win with this Barca's squad, Inter isn't deserve to be in CL.

Not necessary..only think about the Barca-Tottenham game from last year, where Barca played for nothing and Tottenham had the chance to pass the group with a win, without looking at Inters result. I saw that game (while watching Inter-PSV) and i have to say that Tottenham missed a lot of chances. Barca played a decent first half but then they stopped playing at some point, they gave a fuck. And it was at the Camp Nou, not even at London.

I'm moderately optimistic, though it may have to do at least in part with my hoping that slavia might grab a point in Germany. Not that we can count on that, mind you.

If INTER can't win with this Barca's squad, Inter isn't deserve to be in CL.

As a wise man once said:” this is not the competition of deserving “ (hey Dylan! :))

We want to go throw cause by February it’s most likely we’ll have a squad that’s 10 times stronger than the one we have at this particular moment, then we might actually have the right to even dream. Inter now isn’t the real one, just a shadow of remnant past still lurking around with comical figures, but once we’re throw with the injury crisis and with getting right reinforcements, we could prove ourselves deservees of the qualifications.

We really need that CL money too. It’s deadly crucial.

Their backup midfielders are better than our main midfielders :notbad:
Expect that our midfield is totally overwhelmed by them. Our front duo should be able to trouble their backline, but I fear Ansu Fati will run ring around Skriniar or Godin.
The match is still winnable though with such Barca's lineup. Except when Valverde has enough of it and unleash Messi to decide the match.

Everyone knows with the crippled midfield we have at the moment we need the forwards to be lethal. I'm not going to base anyone's success or failure on one game obviously, but this is the definition of a game where our strikers need to prove their worth. If Lukaku and Martinez have a repeat performance of the Roma match then we're done. And our best hope of qualifying is Slavia Prague winning away at Dortmund.

I'm worried about the media reports that are saying Barcleona will rest their players. It could translate into our players thinking that the game will be easier. Those kind of reports do not help the players to mentally prepare for the game. If anything, they could lull the players into a false sense of security.

Not unless you have a coach like Conte hovering ontop of your heads.

Interistas will be pleased to hear that with Kuipers as referee, Barcelona have never won an away match - then again, they have not won in Italy against Inter since 2003 either

My worry is if we don't play well and get knocked out of the CL, it may impact the team morale in the same way as last season. Winning this game is more than just about CL next round. Its about team morale going forward. And I think how we play in this game will have as big an impact as the result.

If we play well and come out of this game really angry at being knocked out of the CL, I am sure Conte could use that.

The problem is even a draw probably won't be enough as i can't see Dortmund failing to win at home against Slavia. We need a win and tbh i can't see us getting it with our current midfield.
