I'm absolutely shocked to read people "expecting" a win against farca. WTF? Seriously?

I do not fear farca, but it's farca, not fucking SPAL.

FiF'ers....please get off your high horse.

Barça without messi is not the same team. if we score against their shaky defense, i don't see Rafinha and Coutinho getting shit done like messi if we sit back.

I honestly think that a win against Barca is doable specially if Nainggolan plays and Messi doesn't.

We all would like to think that, but this game also could be the start of a downfall in performance and results in Europe and even in the league. We could lose this game, which is very likely, and then lose focus, maybe even crucial players like Brozo and Skriniar could get injured, and this season would be pretty much in history.

Barca are in Italy ahead of their European showdown with Inter Milan.

A win will ensure Barcelona qualify for the knockout stages with two games to spare.

Lining up at the centre of defence will be star man Pique.

He’ll be fit to start at the back despite banging his head on the team bus today.

Barcelona-based publication Mundo Deportivo uploaded a video of the Barcelona team in Milan today.

And their footage showed Pique stepping off the coach with his headphones on gazing into his mobile phone.

With the ex-Manchester United man’s attention occupied elsewhere, he failed to spot the huge rearview mirror ahead of him, and duly banged his head.

Pique seemed to brush off the incident, and Mundo report he suffered no ill-effects.

Lionel Messi could return to the Barcelona side for the San Siro clash.

But Inter coach Luciano Spalletti says it won’t make much difference if he’s passed fit to play.

”With Messi, Barca's degree of unpredictability increases but their attitude is the same without him,” he said.

“He is obviously the cherry on the cake, the idol of all kids that dream of becoming footballers."

Barca lead the group with nine points from three games followed by Inter on six while PSV Eindhoven and Tottenham have one point each.

Spalletti says Barca are the ideal role models for his side.

He’s in the second season of a rebuilding job at Inter, a club that seems to have been in perpetual transition since winning a Champions League, Serie A and Coppa Italia treble under Jose Mourinho in 2010.

China's electronics retailer Suning Holdings Group bought a majority stake in the club in 2016 and, two weeks ago, 26-year-old Steven Zhang, the son of Suning chairman Zhang Jindong, was appointed club president, promising to lead them into a new era.

"We've always said that we can play against any opponent. ...this is the chance to see if we really can compete against any side," he said. "Barcelona represents the highest level of difficulty that there is.

"They are already at the level that we are looking to reach. Barcelona have been a point of reference for all coaches, and not just in football.

"Inter are in a phase of continual growth, I think we're doing better than last season even though we have four points less."

When would it be ideal for me to come to the stadium tomorrow? Something before 8? I will be using the underground, so I wanna know how big the crowd gets before and after the game while being on Underground?

I would've much rather faced Messi in Barcelona than face him in Milan and would've said so at the time as well. I wanted us to face him and have an idea where we stood going into a game we didn't expect to win anyway. As it is, now that we're back home, we have real expectation and real need to get a result from this game and, well, it didn't look like Messi was going to be ready in time for the game anyway, so now that it's looking like he has a real chance of appearing, I'm getting more nervous.

When I went for the derby last year I left at 6 from pretty much the city centre to get there for 7:45, got there with 40 minutes to spare. Underground before the game is absolutely rammed and expect queues after the game to even get in the underground as it's 80k people trying to leave through one station.

Atmosphere is amazing from the moment you step out of the subway station.

For what it's worth I don't ever remember an instance where the player(s) accompanying the coach to the pre match conference didn't start.

I think we have to play Handanovic; Vrsaljko, De Vrij, Skriniar, Asamoah; Vecino, Brozovic; Politano, Nainggolan, Perisic; Icardi. That to me is undoubtedly our strongest lineup. And sure, it's not impossible Spalletti breaks the trend but I think considering their attendance at the conference yesterday we need to anticipate Valero and Keita starting.
