Obinna!! Obinna!!
Time for Stefan to get banned :D

Nope I never agreed to any bet that includes banning. Besides I said start a game not get 5 minutes as a sub when all other options like figo, jimenez and super mario are out injured.

If Obina starts any major game for inter this season excluding when he is the only choice because of injuries I will wear an obina avatar for a month.

By major game I do not mean cl games were we have already qualified and mou is giving everyone a game, neither do I mean serie a games were the starters are being rested. Also coppa italia is not considered major.

Jesus christ. We have so many counters and can't score in any of those and because of that all interisti have to suffer the whole 90 minutes.

It's sad Zlatan isn't a scorer type ONE BIT. If he could bury those regular goal chances he would be something out of this world. Now he's just wonderful artist but not an effective striker.

Trend continues with the clean sheet, or maybe I have to say lack of it. And again, the goal came from the cross. :howler: Okay, that was a freak goal assisted by Zanetti, but still. We just can't keep the clean sheet. If opponent can't do it, our players give them the goal.

Vieira and Muntari are excellent midfield pairing. Of course they can't handle all the pressure when there are better opponent against, but with these small sides they are just fine. They can get the ball fast to their control and distribute it forward. Mancini and Quaresma failed again, they don't use their speed enough. Okay, Quaresma didn it couple of times today and got freekicks from those. He needs to have more self-confidence, and most of all, do right decisions with the ball.

Seems we tried to copy milans games against Bologna... They missed 250 chances as well, luckily we won unlike them.

Their goal was all Cordoba's fault, who knows what the fuck he was doing...

It wasnt a great game, thats for sure. I dont like our defensive play at all, we defend waaaaay to far back on the pitch. We need to push our defensive line up.

Adriano was very good today in my opinion, he looks extreemly calm and secure with the ball at his feet, barely makes any bad passes at all and uses his body well for cover. He had two clear penalties made on him as well, the ref needs to see an optometrist. Zlatan wasnt bad either, well his finishing was, but the two really seems to combine well.

Muntari and Vieira were good as well.

Our wingers werent good tho, as expected. Especially Mancini, he did nothing right in the first half but improved after the break. RQ takes waaaaaaay to much time before he passes or crosses, its ridiculous really just pass the fucking ball instead of standing still and doing nothing with it.

Yeah Vieira almost made me cream myself today with those delicate touches in midfield. This guy's a beast when he's on form and fully fit.

Looking back to the match, I think that Muntari and specially Vieira did a great game, Ibra has to be remembered for that goal but also for the missed chances. Our Capitano had an unhappy moment but I think he gave a good response.

On the not so great side, I think Quaresma had a reasonable 1st half but he lost it after the break, plus all the forwards, how can a top team throw away that many chances?

Finally, Adriano looked good and Cambiasso helped us keep the cool at the back, a good sub by Mourinho in my opinion.

4-4-2 worked. Mourinho should note that down.

Anyways we were much better this round, we should look to build on it.

I feel sorry for Rivas. Adri and Ibra had good games, Quaresma was better, Mancini was good, Vieira was majestic, Muntari great, Cordoba apart from their goal was good.

Like everyone else, we need to score of some of these chances. tbh I would have brought on Cruz for Adri for 15-20 minutes.

Comments -
Cesar - does mishandle some long rangers
Cordoba - poor mistake for the goal
Zanetti - not having a great period too
Vieira - decent performance..marshalled the midfield well
Muntari - supported Vieira well
Zlatan - surely has to score the easier ones
Adriano - no right foot but good passing
Quaresma - too much time on the ball...and not enough quality when really needed
Mancini - nothing special again

Obinna - I actually think he would become very useful in the future
Stankovic - he is improving..would do better in a 3 man midfield.

I think the whole team played well tonight, or well, maybe not Mancini.

+++ Vieira
++ Zlatan for the goal
+ Impossible to choose, they were all good.

Sucks that we can't stay with a 4-4-2. Vieira and Muntari were commanding. I really wish Cuchu and Capitano remain in the defense.

I think Quaresma did better than usual today. Atleast he was more confident and the team trusted him more, but he was far from what I expect from him.

Good game apart from missing the chances and jz and cafe forgetting now each other for 10 years.

4-4-2 just works better for us.

This was a much needed win, and good to get, but I'm going to be brutally honest with all of you.

Our defense is fine, when its not depleted by injuries. Say goodbye to Rivas and hello to defense depleted by injuries.

I have no complaints about Viera

Muntari is a beast, when he controls himself.

Quaresma sucks. His first touch is terrible, his crosses all go to the keeper, I have never seen him successfully make a tackle.

Mancini is fine.

Ibrahimovic is where the problem gets really bad. He had at least three or four chances when he was expected to score. 1 goal. He had an open shot from the 18. Pushed it over, as usual. He was one on one with the keeper. Hit it wide. He was offsides numerous times. If all you are going to do is stand up by their defense and wait for a ball, I think you should finish a bit more often than he is doing. Good thing Obinna hit that one cross from Adriano, cause Ibra would've missed that easy goal too, and I don't think I could've stood it.

4-4-2 works well just fine when the opponent is Bologna, Lecce, Catania or similar level team. They don't have midfielders who can control the game and they defend tight with just few offensive players on the lineup. With two central midfielders, Inter can't play against Milan, Roma etc. let alone English top clubs.

Volpi should be able to control the game, he's a decent playmaker.

Quaresma, Adriano, Ibrahimovic, Maicon, Vieira, Muntari all showed today that with this line-up we can be very deadly. They all were HUGE. I know it was against Bologna but still the signs were very positive. I mean some of the play we saw today was BREATH TAKING. Its a pity Mancini had a off day (couple of good moves in the 2nd half) and RQ faded in the 2nd half.

Deki and Obinna both made a good impression when they came on. I am very glad for Victor, he had been waiting for this chance for ages and I really do think this guy has a future at Inter, he has the quality. Also seeing Deki hit those 2 shots, made me remember the good times. Lets hope this is the beginning of his renaissance.

Ibra - Adri is a master class duo!!! Seeing them combine every time is a sheer joy to watch. WHAT A PEACH OF A GOAL by our Swedish magician from a great Brazilian cross. Its a pity that we missed the easy chances, otherwise we would be talking about a 5-0, 6-0 result.

J.Zanetti and Cordoba were very poor on their goal but they are 2 legends and we won so they are forgiven. Besides that both of them had a solid game.

Lets not overglorify this win too much, but the team was impressive no doubt! Jomo a 4-4-2, 4-2-3-1, 4-2-4 whatever it was u sent out today, is the way to go. At least 4 attacking players please!

You mean u got to be kidding me? tell me how that was not a great cross. he had a player in front of him and did well to make space and get a cross in. Read his interview on inter.it, he knows Zlatan is always standing at the near post. I say it again, a GREAT cross.

No Milan player
Match stats says it all, 62% possession, 22 shots, and 11 corners but only 2 goals.

Overall a dominant performance but an unefficent one.

...

We played very, very good game. Extremely offensive. If someone is not happy with the lack of goals, I will aplaud. But nobody can say any other bad word for this game. Bologna looked dangarous only when they scored this fluke goal, and they pushed a little more. If that not happened, the game could be as good as over.

We did the same with Mancio at the beggining, and the difference is, we drew a lot of those games back then, while here we win.

When we look at how offensive this was again, we did excelent in deffense(without this fluke).

Ibra and Adriano need both -1, or -2 points in the scale of GdS. If they would bag one each, they would be fine, but they need to work this out, especialy Adriano, who I took for a very clinical striker. He is working very hard, I like what I see, but he still lacks this killer instinct he was famous for. They still deserve 7, or 7.5.

I also think Ricky had the best game in Inter shirt. He still is somewhere off his golden form, but he is getting there. I can see the progress. He needs to adjust to the italian deffending, as in Portugal it was much easier. Over 30 year old Figo could do it, so he can do it too, I'm sure. He needs a little more time and a little more confidence in himself.

I really was very happy with the performance. Just until Bolognas goal, we completely dominated game, had plenty of chances to score, and gave Bologna almost nothing.
