Cagliari's away record this season (Serie A and Coppa Italia):

20 matches : 2 wins, 5 draws and 13 defeats :)
The only teams they've won against away are Triestina (serie B) in the cup, and Lazio back in november...
Anyway they just aren't the same team away from home...

We'll win. A nice and clean 2-0.

As for the other semi, I think Udinese will get through...
Btw - Totti can play for Roma in the cup, can he?

I'd be very surprised if Roma got through to the final. Udinese has a big advantage.

I think we'll win this 2-0 like we did a few weeks ago.

And who you all prefer to meet in the final?
I Prefer Roma, i think when Roma get to the final, if happend so, she won't play that good, and we can win against her easily..

And dont be so sure that we gonna win 2-0 or stuff like that, you can never know, but im hope you all right.

I'm perplexed by the fact that you guys seem to have underrate Udinese this much. Haven't we learnt? Over the last 4 seasons, Udinese have been one of our bogey teams.
  • 2001/2002
    Udinese 1-1 Inter
    Inter 3-2 Udinese

    2002/2003
    Inter 1-2 Udinese
    Udinese 2-1 Inter

    2003/2004
    Udinese 0-0 Inter
    Inter 1-2 Udinese

    2004/2005
    Inter 3-1 Udinese
    Udinese 1-1 Inter
Code:
        P W D L F A Pts
Inter 8 2 3 3 11 11 9
Udinese 8 3 3 2 11 11 12
Still think of them lightly? Let's see Roma's. (At this point, I am not sure of our records against them so my plan may backfire. :D)
  • 2001/2002
    Roma 0-0 Inter
    Inter 3-1 Roma

    2002/2003
    Roma 2-2 Inter
    Inter 3-3 Roma

    2003/2004
    Inter 0-0 Roma
    Roma 4-1 Inter

    2004/2005
    Roma 3-3 Inter
    Inter 2-0 Roma
Code:
        P W D L F A Pts
Inter 8 2 5 1 14 13 11
Roma 8 1 5 2 13 14 8

Well I'll be d@mned! :D

I still fear Roma. They have big game players such as Chivu, Totti and Cassano. If that trio performs well then our threats could be nullified and our defence could crumble. Udinese are one of our 'bogey' teams but I think that they will be easier to beat in a big game.

2-0 against Cagliari. Inter to win final whoever they play :D .

Di Michele, Pizarro, Di Natale & Iaquinta may not be as famous as Roma's players but there certainly is a reason why Roma is fighting for survival or UEFA Cup place whereas Udinese is fighting for a CL place this season. And that is, despite the fame, Udinese is enjoying a much better season and combining with the fact that our recent records against them are not the best, they will be a bigger adversary in our path to winning the Italy Goblet.

agree with you mate.

not just are their players not the most famous, but they are hardworking, and they never give up.

not to mention their great coach...but Jankulovski is out for 4 months!

Roma are in trouble of getting relegated this season udinese are battling for a cl spot. Roma haven't won in 10 games. If it was only a 1 off game sure I would rather face udinese but over 2 legs I rather face roma this season.

Adriano faces new Brazil row Saturday 14 May, 2005

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Inter and Brazil are set to lock horns again over the use of Adriano’s time and the Nerazzurri will call in FIFA to arbitrate.

Seleçao boss Carlos Parreira has already announced that he will not rest big name players for the Confederations Cup, set to take place in Germany from June 15 to 29.

This is going to be a problem for Inter, who are still on target to play the Coppa Italia Final – their only shot at some silverware this season – on June 12 and 15.

Considering Adriano’s many injury worries this term, and the fact that he had a starring role in last summer’s victorious Copa America campaign, the club believes that he should take a short break from international duty.

“When you get to this level of professional sport, you have to forget about resting for a while,” Parreira was quoted as saying. “To wear the Seleçao shirt is an honour.”

It’s reported that Adriano does not wish to make waves in the Brazilian squad, so Inter are taking matters into their own hands and calling in FIFA to arbitrate on the matter.

Rest is of particular importance this summer, as the San Siro outfit will have to come together early to prepare for the Champions’ League preliminary round

Even from a neutral point of view, I think that Brazil wanting Adriano for this summer is a complete selfish decision. First of all, it is not a secret that Adriano is fatigued and he needs a lot of rest. It is for the benefit for Inter and Brazil if Adriano stays injury-free. After all, now he is not in form.

Another thing is that, Brazil has used Adriano for last summer in the Copa America and he returned at Inter very tired. He didn't have a holiday. His holiday will also be cut short next summer because of the World Cup in Germany. And yet, Brazil still want him to participate in the Confederations Cup this summer? Oh please! The Cup has never been considered as a major cup in the world of football! It is what the Worthless Cup is to England! If I remember correctly, and I am quite confident about this, Brazil sent a 'B' team for the last edition of the Confederations Cup. So why have it become an important cup to them out of a sudden? It's bull$hit, I tell ya!

FIFA has got to step in and set some rules. For example, for the even years (2004, 2006, 2008), Brazil are allowed to take any players for the World Cup or Copa America but for the odd years (2005, 2007, 2009), the decision lies on the hands of the players.

Adriano - #10
Since when was the Confederations Cup important anyway? It's not like there isn't a plethora of strikers to choose from instead of Adriano. Bullsh!t move by Perriera if he forces him to go and jeopardizes our Coppa Italia chances. :fero:
