For what I have seen of the game we have been sucking balls in hell. This is terrible these guys should have been all guns blazing out there waiting to annhilate Catania. Really a terrible way to warm up for the decisive clash with Spartak. I understand Mancini wants to keep his players fresh for the next game but playing good soccer for the first half and then retaining posession pretty much the entire second half would have been a solid move. Now they have to go out there improve their play AND score a goal.

Plus their goal was the dumbest piece of shit I have ever seen when the opposing team has an attacking throw in you challenge the players before the throw in is made or as soon as it is played. You dont allow them to accept the throw in turn around and either set up the cross or have a pop at goal. Zanetti was too intent on catching the guy should he come down the flank and he saw that and played the ball stationary. That was a pretty amateur mistake by capitano not to mention JC who allowed such a goal.
