tbh, much much better tonight. this was exactly what i wanted to see from strama and im glad its what we got. doesnt make up for the persistent use of the back 3 but at least he's learning, thats what i care about the most. progress.

keep this up in the next few games. our passing tonight in counter attack was immense compared to normal.

Wow...the first time we looked good in so long. Thought it was going to be the same garbage again after Chievo equalized, but I am glad that didn't happen.

It was real enjoyment reading this thread from the beginning

Anyway, finally we worked as a team! 4-3-3 is the way to go, keep playing it! Even if we don't win, just keep playing it. We played very good, little nervous at the beginning (the conceded goal + that Acerbi chance). But as the game went on, we played better and better. Can't say who was our best player, everyone was great, had their share of the win. It's a shame we didn't score few more, we crated 10 clear chances. Chievo created 2, scored 1.

Hope we can keep this up. Last time when we changed to 3 at the back was the Chievo game, and we went on a 10 games unbeaten run. We changed formation now as well, against Chievo, now i hope we go in another 10 games unbeaten run.

Zanetti: 7,5 very very good in my opinnon his best performance this season
Christ: 6,5 once lost his men other than that solid
Ranocchia: 8,5 amazing game no mistakes and scored tackled everything thrown at him
Nagatomo: 7 lots of runs and hard work no major mistakes
Kuzmanovic: 6 probably the only player that played worse in this game than the previous one still he did ok
Gargano:7 would be a lot higher but it was him that lost his player for the chievo goal and lost a one on one other than that he was immense (gr8 freekick)
Cambiasso: 7,5/8 gr8 passing good defense got a superb assist on Militos goal
Palacio: 4,5/5 again really bad tonight
Milito:7,5 did all the little things and scored
Cassano: 8,5 man of the match for me his creativity and vision was just pure fantasy
Alvarez:6,5 a lot of bad dribblings ,lost the ball just too easily still made an out of this world pass for nagatomo, also had a nice shot saved by their keeper

Who would have thought that a switch back to a 433 would see our performance improve? I'm flabbergasted. Its not like its been obvious for months or anything...

Gargano was quite OK today. That ball that bounced off his heel in the second half while he took his eye off the ball was quite hilarious though.

Cassano is very important to our play this season. Even if he doesn't give us assists and goals, his contribution on a functional level is amazing.
