I bet none of us knows too much about Inter's fan groups especially ultras). It would be very nice, if someone with more knowledge would tell some basic stuff about our different ultragroups (Irriducibili, Boys San, Viking... etc.)

Hmm let's see what i can come up with.

The Boys were first formed in 1969 as Boys Le Furie Nerazzurre (The Furious Black & Blue Boys). It will not be long before the Boys L.F.N take their place in the second tier of the Curva Nord as the club's oldest ultra group. Alongside the Boys, another famous ultra group, the Forever Inter Ultras were formed in 1975.

Right from the start, ultra groups in Italia were used as platform for politics - seeing as the stadium was and still is one of the last remaining places where large masses of people are gathered together regularly. This allowed the local politicos to use the stadium to get their message across. Inter fans were not excused from these actions, and the Curva Nord were generally right-winged aligned from the beginning. They formed a tri-axis partnership with 2 other famous right-winged groups, the Brigate Gialloblu of Verona and Curva Nord Lazio. Till today, the friendship with Lazio remains - the Brigate Gialloblu stopped the amicable relationship with the Inter ultras in the late 90s/early 2000s, due to internal clashes within the Brigate that weren't very fond of forging ties with the Inter fans.

In 1979, the name of Boys Le Furie Nerazzurre is changed to the familiar Boys Squadra d'Azione Nerazzurra (Boys Black & Blue Action Squad), or more famously known as Boys S.A.N.

Famous years:

1975 - Forever Inter Ultras are formed.
1979 - Boys S.A.N is created from the old Boys Le Furie Nerazzurre.
1979 - Potere (Power) Nerazzurra changes their name to Milano Nerazzurra.
1980 - Boys Roma is created from the old Inter Club Roma 11 Stelle.
1984 - Viking Inter is formed.
1985 - Brianza Alcoolica (Alcoholic) is formed.
1989 - Irriducibili Inter is formed.

The above mentioned dates are for all 7 main groups sitting in Curva Nord today. Together with the other groups such as Nord Kaos, Perversi, Monkeys, Imbastisci and Monelle (all-girl group), they make up a combined Curva Nord Milano 1969.

It is well known that the Curva Nord has created a lot of trouble over the years. The truth is, the Curva Nord is more notoriously associated with their violent outbursts than for their coreography or fan support. They can be very quiet during periods of time in a game, or simply very rowdy.

Ciao,
Tim

Exactly. I'm still confused after his latest post and will ask him more about the Curva Nord on MSN, as a matter of fact we're all in a chat together right now. ;)

The ‘’IRRIDUCIBILI’’ group was born in 1989 thanks to a number of young adults who loved (and still do) Inter with their voices. About a year and a half afterwards, Ultras group ‘’SKINS’’ left the Curva Nord.

This is what I clearly remember but give me some more time and I will come up with more information on Inters youngest group – the ‘’IRRIDUCIBILI’’!

Fabio ;)

P.S And anything I can dish out of my head!

Often associated with racism for the no. 88! They are extremely tied in with Gussiness Beer. Umm they chant the Non mollare mai dance remix song that's on the web. They have lots of good pictures. They used to be associated with Skins but SKins leftr a short while ago. Many times you can see severla members with Nazi flags in their crowd and Belin Ultra, which refers to the notorious German neo-Nazi group.

I know that the ‘’VIKING ULTRAS’’ group is situated on the left hand side of the Curva Nord, and that the ‘’IRRIDUCIBILI’s’’ infamous logo is the Muttley dog.

The ‘’IRRIDICIBILI’s’’ biggest season so far was the 2002/2003 season, where they went to more matches, made more flags and banners and a better reputation.

I forgot to mention, they are usually a bunch of skinheads...In about 1997, they had disagreements with the Viking Inter b/c Viking was taking a more modern anti-racist approach in their chants.

In 2002, May 10, Irridicubili president denounced Lazio Irridicibuli for their anti-group harmony in their famous win. IT was expected that the two groups, which are tied closeldy together, both in ideas and people, were going to collaborate. On a side note, before I go further, the eagle that is part of lazio's symbol is the eagle that is found in the lazio and inter irididubli. IT is not the Nazi eagle, though it has striking similaries in the wings.

So, back to the point, it was expected for Lazio to lose and Inter to win and they had a big riot/party planned in the capital that night but after Lazio beat Inter, there was some tension and rift in the Irridubili ranks.

Today, they are forced to harbor the uppder upper tier of the San Siro b/c more modern and mainstream groups such as VIking Inter, etc do not want to associate with them by any means more than just a simple association.

I often see the banner "Bauscia", is that an Inter fan group? I'm not sure if it's us or Milan.

Yes Frisko,''Bauscia'' is a very young Inter group. It was born in January 1998 in the Coppa Italia derby where Branca scored for Inter. Many of it's members are from the ''Old Guard''.They mainly help out with merchandise and selling tickets with collaboration from the main ''Ultras''! ;)
