A little OOT, why are we 4th instead of 3rd? Has the rule changed regarding a tie breaker? Shouldn't it be H2h and then GD?

While season is i the progress they usually rank teams by goal difference, in the end they look at h2h first. But we would be 4th anyway since we lost to Sassuolo.

I guess it makes sense as it would be complicated if they were to take account of the H2h early this season. Thanks
