I feel like De Vrij and Sommer are good pair in defense. Despite new, Sommer is good shoot stopper and have big role in three match cleansheet.

hopefully this run is everything we need for people to pick up confidence, etc. Its always harder coming into a team that's struggling and needs big performances to get back on track, at least things are working well.

This is the most mature we looked under inzaghi. No more headless chicken attacks where we leave half the pitch open for opponents to counterattack us. Our game in certain moments looks boring in the best possible way. Good stuff, hopefully it continues...

Agree so much. The team looks very mature, also a lot less nagging on the pitch.

Defense also is very good. Pavard has to be very great to keep darmian out of the pitch. Always solid.

Sommer looks more for safety instead of Onana. But Sommer is very much also responsible for the 3 clean sheets. Each game he saved one clear chance of each team.

Barella still needs to up his game, everyone else was good.

Thuram is gradually improving every game and he really made the difference today, was always dangerous, fantastic header on our opening goal, created a penalty but finishing product lacks quality.

Sommer is looking better as well far more secure on the ball with better passes and he has been good on the line so far.

Arna has been mixed, was rather invisible today but the game was as good as over so hard judging him.

Cuadrado was bad, constantly lost the ball, stupid decisions, passes where lacking quality he did nothing that convinced me about why we got him.. he did make a good pass to Martinez on the final goal but it’s almost entirely also the positive he contributed with so far.

Carlos Augusto and Frattesi has been a bit mixed show promises but also clear they have not gelled entirely into the team yet. I’m sure they get better over time.
