Good. Obviously the team comes first over any individual but I must admit I am disgustingly happy to see Eriksen get consistent starts in that mezzala position.

Conte was never a fan of rotation and i doubt he's going to do it now we have one game per week. I am expecting the same lineup with the exception of Darmian instead of suspended Hakimi. My only doubt is whether he's going to start Eriksen or Vidal.

5 goals v Genoa since joining us, I feel if Gags were to start any game, it would be this one. Barella/Gags/Eriksen? I'd rather just keep it as it is though, no need to rest players now.

We almost have won against everyone this year. Juve Lazio Milan, only against Roma we draw. The biggest problem was losing points against Samp and Udine. Against big teams we were really good, now it's time to show that smalls teams are no problem too. Wining against Genoa and Parma would mean a lot for the scudetto race. With this 2 wins we maybe could say that this team has really a great chance to win the league.

Because they play in a way that annoys the sh*t out of Conte. Defend deep with a 352, players are suited for his tactics, the've improved in defense, from conceding '2 a game' under Maran, to 6 or 7 in 10 matches. You only have to look the stat on their away match in Atalanta ( at the start of his tenure) to see they can bunker down. 4 shots on target for Atalanta.

A close 1-0 for us. If we're lucky.

I agree. I am expecting something similar to our home win against Udinese last season. If we win it's going to be a tough one. Even in the away game when Genoa were in terrible form we needed a moment of individual brilliance from Barella and Lukaku in order to break their defence.

indeed we've got better. late finish of last season, lack of summer prep, 2 weeks less holiday than other clubs, covid. we are actually doing pretty good.

I just said yesterday in the WA group. We have done 4 W 3 D 1 L against top 7 clubs in the league so far. The 3D were away games, 1L we were handicapped. Compared this to Milan (3 W 1 D 3 L) and Juve (2 W 3 D 2 L).

Would very much like at least 2 of them available for Atalanta, so with Vidal coming back to fitness I’d say one of the midfielders should find a way to get booked on Sunday, otherwise we might start running into problems down the road.

Imagine all 4 got booked, triple B and Kaku ... We can't mess about with Genoa either so we can't exactly have them all sit out, guess they really gotta play smart, we know at least 1 of them will get booked unfortunately.
