Let me start with a short introduction, i´m a 12 year long interista from Copenhagen with a passion for the never winning club from Milano. I fell in love with the club because of my older brothers love for Nicola Berti( i was just 7 at the time and followed my brother in everything he did)
Now to the point for my thread...
In my years as Interista i have learned to love foreign players like Darko Pancev, Shalimov, Bergkamp, Robbie Keane, Simic, Ruben Sosa (tremendous) and even the highly overrated Wim Jonk ( his career later on brought him to world class clubs such as Sheff Wed and Breda) but they all have something in common THEY HAVE NEVER BEEN BANNED FOR USING STEROIDS OR BEEN BANNED FOR MAKING RACIST COMMENTS.
Mu point is that in modern football morale and clubmanship obviously is long forgotten, something Inter was highly reckened for years ago, but now we just want to win, no matter the cost or pride within.
I mean, any true Interista have hated Mihajlovic and Davids for years as we hate any Juve, Milan or Roma player ( i have always seen Lazio and Parma as farmer clubs with no real condition to compete with mighty Inter) but now that we have brought them in we have to love them al of a sudden, no way.....
I hope Davids will choke his glasses and Mihajlovic will meet Vieira a dark evening, man to man...
I care about my club but if there is one thing i have learned from all the years without the scudetto is that winnig is not everything. I for one, will not feel the same joy if we win the title this season as i felt when we lifted the Uefa Cup trophy a few years back. Thats for sure
Meanwhile i will take a walk down Memory Lane when players like Ricardo Ferri, the Paganin brothers, Paul Ince ( remember how the inter needs a warrior banner affected him), and my favourite Nicola Berti with pride wore the inter jersey

First of all, welcome to Forza Inter forums. I hope you will have a great time on this board as many of us have! Do message an administrator or moderator if you run into any problems.

Now onto the main topic..

I understand that you have cultivated very strong feelings for this club, so strong that you believe so deeply in club rivalries, and the rivalries for the many players plying their trade in the different clubs we call our fierce rivals (Milan, Juventus, Roma). However, you must understand that once these very players come to Inter, they automatically become Inter players and thus are subject to the love we have for this club and the members of the squad. Your view and opinion on this very issue is just one of many - there are others who feel the opposite. Despite being fierce rivals when they have played for one of the teams we dislike, or even hate, we simply cannot let them stay on in the team and still hate them for that. Are they one one in the Black & Blue family, for as long as they remain a paid employee of the club? If we do not support them, then can we consider ourselves true fans? For isn't a fan supposed to love their club through thick & thin?

There can be many sides to this argument - fundamentally, it all boils down to personal opinion and more importantly, a question of principles. On one hand, you could be a fan that simply hates your rivals and will not tolerate the very players you have disliked all this while, even when they don the Nerazzurro jersey. And on the flipside, there will be the fans who will love everybody playing for Inter, even if they have been doing so for our rivals all these years. Then, there are the in-betweeners, those that will need time to adjust to their hated players doing the business for Inter.

Judging from what you are saying, you hate these players such as Davids and Mihaijlovic, and for what reason then? Is it because they have been playing for our rivals all these years? If so, then there is great cause for you to dislike some of the players already in Inter, for they have also had playing time for our rivals in the past. Or is it because of their bad attitudes; this is debatable it itself? If this is the reason, then it shouldn't be too hard to like them; after all, despite what they have done in the past, they are still now Inter players. Not extending to them your support is like telling Inter there is a part of them you reject.

Remember, this was the very reason why the C.U.C.S. of Roma was torn apart - because the many ultras inside the curva could not agree on whether they should support Lionello Manfredonia, a former Lazio player. In the end, the many squabbles killed one of Italy's greatest ultra groups, and a very sad end to a legacy.

Thus, what should be noted is that despite your immense hatred for players like Davids and Miha in the past, you must also remember that they are now playing for Inter. Is it fair to them if their own club's fans refuse to extend the courtesy of support? Like i said, it is all about your own morals and principles.

Ciao,
Tim

I agree with Tim (Miki).

bam bam 4ever, I am sure that Parma and Lazio would also have loved to have players like Davids, it's just that they are in a different world coz of their financial situations. Getting Mihajlovic was really an amazing move, but think in other way. It's a tradtition in Inter that the management never fulfils coaches' desire (getting players). And now when it seems that they have changed their attitude, which seems to be for the good of Inter. Lets suppose Inter convinced everything except getting Mihajlovic for Mancini, so why not fulfill that only desire if Miha is of that importance for our coach?
May be there's something in Mihajlovic which only Mancini and other ppl know  Not his football talent (we don't need that badly, especially his), but his character, the way he motivates the sqaud and so on.
WHO KNOWS ?

Players come, players go but love for black and blue stays. Though I can say that I don't like Miha doesn't mean that he isn't able to win us behind him..

Backbone of inter is afterall the same:

Toldo, J Zanetti, Cordoba, Matrix, Emre, Recoba, Bobo and new-comers Adriano and Oba..

F :proud: rza inter.

I dont agree

Tim that was a nice contribution, we are INTER FANS, I am not a fan of any specific player, I love Adriano, Martins, Toldo, and will always be happy for any of INter players when he plays with his national team, I am not greek but I enjoyed seeing Karagounis happy by lifting the European CUp.

so in today professional football, then we have to hate Veron, Stankovic, Mancini, and many of the others, but I dont spread Hatred, I spread Love, and as long as they wear the nerazzuri shirt then they are part of the family and they are in my heart immediately.

I love to see Inter wins, u know, I am an INter fan since around 4 years now, before i was more into Barca or Bayern Munich, but now INter comes first u know why, despite that i never celebrated with them except 4th position (BS), but I feel the family, check the fans forums, and all inter club,, other clubs like big companies making money, but INter is a family, that how they describe our team when they talk about Milano rivals.

if winning the scudetto needs us to bring Totti, Del Piero, Kaka, Maldini, then lets bring them, I dont care, I care only to see Inter wins and we are all on this forum happy.

we have a great squad this year and I cant wait to watch them in action.

Inter and ONly INter, Spread love cause only love brings miracles.

Forza Inter from Canada

Although it's more satisfying to win the Scudetto with Emre, Martins, Adriano, Cordoba, Vieri & Javier Zanetti; I wouldn't mind if we had to do it with the Paolo Maldinis, Andriy Shevchenkos and Franco Baresis. Scudetto is Scudetto.

Well, as i have said before, I dont want to win the scudetto at any given price! There should be a CLEAR distinction between us and Gobbi for example! So If you ask me, NO! - I rather dont win the scudetto than do so with the help of DelBoy and Maldini!

p.s both McDonalds and Tortellini will satisfy one's hunger! ;)

The end justifies the mean. Nothing is holy anymore.
Like the knife stabbed in Zac's back, Inter will stop at nothing to achieve the championship, and lower themselves to the likes of AC Merda and Juventus.

And it's about damn time.

I'm sick and tired of being the Serie's boxing sack. It's time Inter learns to play dirty after 15 desperate years. We have waited too long. There is only one goal in our minds, and we will stop at nothing to get it.
Yes, it will be more satisfying winning the scudetto honestly and fairly, but it would take another 15 years. I don't want to sit on the couch with my kid, telling him to keep his faith like I did at the time.
If this is what it takes, so be it. Relatively, Inter is still the most moral and fair team among the 5 big ones.

However something should be said about Mihajlovic's transfer, madly unnecessary. Even without relating to his so called crimes against humanity, it's a bad signing. And this is strictly professional. Davids on the other hand, is a good bargain. Some say we are covered in his position, but a player in his level for free is something Inter doesn't have the luxury throw away.

Forza signing dirty players, and Forza Inter.

Well , For me Inter is a Passion that i've always sought to discover in my soccer- life . so I follow my passion with Inter that even though those years weren't the best but look at how the superb number of fans that like and are Die-Hard Inter fans all over the world , Inter fans are actually more than Milan ones though all the propaganda and the trophies that the milanista bragg about . Inter is A Secret Man , and it will always be with me and you will see guys when we win soemthing , how passionate we will gonna be , how Passionate will Italy be actually .

HAHAHA!!! :dielaugh: :dielaugh: :dielaugh:
Vieira is gonna REALly whack the hell out of Miha, and he'll join Adriano's dad and watch Inter progress from heaven, that is if we ever progress!

Anyway, all jokes aside, I just feel the love for Inter not because of how many scudettos they won and are going to win. Yes,our long term goal(and apparently, it has been long!) is to win the scudetto and show the world what we are capable of. However, i support Inter for the team it is. The history. The jersey. Moratti.Everything.

Yes, there are great playersAND players i absolutely detest, espescially Mihajlovic whom i extremely hate. Yes, i hate him as a person and as a player. But when he dons the black and blue of Inter,I can't say anything against him cos' he's doing something for Inter's cause. Heck IMO, even if you call Blanc out of retirement, i'm sure he'll do a better job and make me much much happier than Mihajlovic but still i have to accept them and support them because my blood is black and blue.

Inter is a passion, like literature. The act of anguish we suffer, or the joy we express when Oba scored VS juve for example :proud: . That feeling we express IS PASSION.That is LOVE. And to me, Inter signifies life. And yes, money doesn't bring happiness. We can bring everyone from the whole world to play in inter, but if they do not have the heart, what is the use?

INTER needs passionate players. If the players could be at least half as passionate as some of US, Inter fans, i'm very sure we will win the scudetto. The mental approach is very important. Perhaps, and only perhaps, that's why Mihajlovic was brought in. To develop a no nonsense approach to the game. If Greece can win the euro, and Fiorentina can bounce back to Serie A despite being a virtual bankrupt not too long ago, WE WILL ACHIEVE SOMETHING.

but the beauty of Inter is the process in which we go through to win. We know the disappointments, and we have to enjoy it as we go along......FOREVER

Forever an Interisti,
:star: ZAI :star:

I respect all views of this matter. I agree with Tim. :) As long as continue to be a fair club in the sence that we don´t rig matches and use doping etc. I am happy. Of course we need to be tough sons of b!tches as long as it is kept clean.

David´s arrival here was like a dream come true for me. Why? First of all he is IMO one of the very best players in the world. Secondly I don´t believe anyone can know for sure whether Davids took the nandrolone himself or Rubentus put it into his veins without Edgar´s consent. Therefore I believe we must give him the benefit of the doubt.

Mihajlovic is with his shady personality aside a catastrophic transfer. And I can honestly say that he is the first player to wear the Nerazzurri jersey that I truly am ashamed of during my 7 years as Interista. For the obvious reasons.

On a strictly sporting level I think I am happy that we got both Miha and Davids. David´s postive influence will hopefully cancel out Miha´s probable failure.
