The home kit is ok, the away... there is no words for it.

But I really like the training black&blue. It looks so old-school and nice

Also, on closer examination, that home jersey looks a lot like the 08/09 season shirt. Minus the gold trimmings and gold Pirelli logo.

you mention quite a bit that true ingenuity is lacking in the design of these shirts and that they are too safe. Imo it due to the take over of modern art and simplicity, but I agree. Things like gold trim or a gold logo would do both of these shirts justice.
The home jersey is alright, but it just seems incomplete for some reason. I'm going to be waiting for the long sleeve home kit because I hope the long black sleeves will make it look like 4 black stripes instead of the 2.

The away jersey is just too red. There's almost nothing else to the jersey but that.i would have preferred orange.
