Call it early...but this is going to be one of the most important games in recent times if we manage to get a positive series of results against Lecce, Chievo and Fiorentina.

Hopefully my luck continues from when I started the Inter - BBilan thread.

FORZA INTER!

Here's our schedule:

Jan 24 Lazio - Inter (Coppa Italia)
Jan 29 Lecce - Inter
Feb 2 Inter - Lazio (Coppa Italia)
Feb 5 Inter - Chievo
Feb 8 Fiorentina - Inter
Feb 12 Inter - Juventus

And theirs:

Jan 26 Juventus - Roma (Coppa Italia)
Jan 29 Ascoli - Juventus
Feb 1 Roma - Juventus (Coppa Italia)
Feb 5 Juventus - Udinese
Feb 8 Juventus - Parma
Feb 12 Inter - Juventus

I hope we can win all our matches (especially the Fiorentina away game :stress: ) before we play against Gobbi, and they will drop points (Forza Udinese and Parma). Then if we beat them we will be only 2 or 3 points behind them. (What a wonderful world)

I am worried after looking at the fixtures. Exclude Coppa Italia, from the list, I find it very unlikely that Gobbi's will drop points at Ascoli, or at home to Udinese, or Parma. But we have a very tough away game to Fiorentina.
But I think if we match there result, until this game, that is if we stay 8 points behind them, this game will be our Do or Die game. A victory here, and the gap gets reduced to 5 points, Ah well there is too much hope left in the world

I think Oba comes back on the samee day.

Looks like Adriano-Cruz will be our front..cause Recoba surely cant hit form and fitness by when he gets back.

this game makes or breaks our season...simple as that

Ye ye mos def

Why not play Martins? And even if Recoba isn't in form by then I'd rather see him partnered with Adriano than Cruz.

After this post there will be about 5 posts quoting me and saying 'how can you not play Cruz he's the Juve killer'.

Julio Cruz couldn't kill a deaf cripple if he had a loaded revolver in his hand.

This is going to be a massive game, I just know that I'm going to be sick worried about it. Whatever happens, we'll only have one result available, while they will be able to play for the draw. Let's just hope to have a full squad available by then.

I'm worried about fiorentina game more than Gobbi

if we lost against fiorentina , and won gobbi .. then what's the point ?!

even though .. if we won in florence , it would help us to beat Gobbi
but if we lost .. we'll be in a serious problem

I always think that Gobbi win against small teams .. but can't win against big teams .. specialy away matches
examples fromthis season : away Bayern , away Bilan
they had draws only in away matches : Lazio , Chievo

Yeah they r allergetic to people-packed stadiums. They do well only in an empty Delle Alpi.

Crowd pressure ???

I think its best not to get ahead of our selves and just take it one game at a time. Who knows what might happen in the next few weeks.

This game is a bit far for now, I will have it in sight right after the Chievo game. As Frisko said I might be "worried sick" about this one.
Luckily I think we will not have cocky fans now since last time we were outplayed and lost. This game has to be apporached with caution but determination as Juve has incredible self belief.

We have a big opportunity to shorten our gap against the Gobbi, but Viola comes first.
If we manage to win at Florence then we'll have a strong boost to kill the Gobbi.
I'm so facking mad at the ref in their game against Udinese. :frustrat:
If they had already dropped 2 points yesterday, as they should, then winning Fiorentina and Juve would mean that the Gobbi would be just 3 points ahead of us...

I'll just say what a German told me when Germany was about to face South Korea, who has dubiously received referee's help to knock Italy & Spain out, in the semifinal of WC 2002, "We're gonna score so many goals it doesn't matter how many of them are disallowed or how many undeserved penalties Juve's gonna get." :D

I just hope all this tension and hunger for revenge won't be spoiled by us not winning in Firenze. After all, we are on an incredible run and a draw in Firenze wouldn't be a bad result, but due to the circumstances, it would just be a lethal blow. Only one result for us.

If we can't do it, then this game will only be about pride.

Frisko, Frisko, Frisko.

Forget everything thats happened in the past. Forget winning streaks. Theres only one thing we know right now and that is the only way we can cut the lead of Juve's down to 5 points is by beating Fiorentina and Juve.

I know that drawing in Florence is actually good, but for the circumstance it is not. Can u imagine drawing and we go to 10 point difference, then forget it!
