Yes, Acerbi is playing as the LCB. He's been drifting to the left flank to cover Hakimi most of the game with Lucas dropping deep to replace him.

I saw the replay couple of times. It's almost certain you get a yellow card when elbowing other player, even if it's not intentional. However same thing cannot be said if one's elbowing is intentional, as one can easily get sent off.
