really good perfromance. very happy that kondiogbia and banega stajked their claims so well. k-dog is a skillfull player, i think people sterotype him as some sort of a deystroyer because of his looks, truth is that hes a jack of all trades and we need to utilise that.

banega makes things happen, that means somethings will lead to loss of possession but any top team needs x factor players

ive always felt brozvic overated(notice i said overrated and not thats hes crap) but yesterday i thought he was immense. worked so hard and i love how he and banega take it in turns to drop back and collect ball from defence.

icardi just needs to score and stop pissing of fans, he can still become truly loved

and well my highpoint was gabigol. the san siro fans did exactly what me and my wife were doing when he cam on vs sassuolo, just cheering anything he remotley did. hopefully this lets the top brass know we want that excitrment and to get rid of others not gabigol.

pioli comment very dissapointing after but hopefully suning put pressure on pioli to keep gabigol. we need to think long term.

overall a great night. 4pts off top 3 going into 2nd half of season. this could yet be a magnificent season leading into suning summer spending spree! :)

One thing I liked about this match is how we still attacked after leading 3-0, and didn't do the usual retreating. A lot of Serie A teams take their foot off the gas, but only Juve can really do it effectively. Instead of inviting pressure onto us, we kept the ball and tried to attack a team that was already suffering from our pressure which is good.

Perhaps it's that as a new attacking player, we generate an excited expectancy around him.

- - - Updated - - -

hes direct and looking to maximise time on ball

that excites fans

it frustrates pioli apparently

:(

I don't care much for pointless stepovers & flashy rabonas either.

But fans in the stands apparently care to see that...

why was it pointless? he was doing it to trick defender and if you watch it back the defender is scrambling backwards looking at gabigol feet. it did not come off because if every skill worked football would be a different sport! but he did win a throw in so its not like he lost possession

and the rabona made it to a team mate, it also wasnt the most straight forward place to pass from and i am sure in future it may help him out of a hole. also the fans loved it.

ronaldo used to do stepovers in an inter shirt, i am more than happy to see another brazilian make his mark in black and blue shirt.

in summary: cheer up

It's nice on the eyes but if it leads to nowhere it's useless but I don't think Gabigol actually did anything for the sake of looking pretty.

His showboating wasn't useless,he made the stepovers and he was confusing the opponent, the rabbona was a nice pass to Brozo...he has skills but he is young still. He is class of 96 ffs.Only a year older than Bonazzoli who is a sub/reserve in Brescia in Serie B.
He deserves more minutes
He is better than Palacio and Biabia for sure and if not better than Eder
If we get rid of JoJo and Biabia he can stay and get sub minutes
Pioli made F.Anderson so he can make GabiG good
GabiGol's agent said he is best used in a 4-3-3 as a right striker...His agent changed the plate and now says it's best for his client to stay at Inter or in Italy...return to Brazil isn't realistic

Who cares. We were winning 3-0 and we haven't seen fun & pretty football be played by this team in years. We should embrace players that try to entertain the fans, not shun them.

Exactly. The second goal came from brozovic rushing as if we were a goal down with a minute to go. Really positive and we got the reward for it

I missed this live due to work but what a game! The first half was so physical I kept thinking when did we start to hate Lazio so much. After that Banega beauty everything unfolded. Most of the time when we score, we sort of fall back on teamwork but they kept going even when we were up 2-0. I was actually getting butterflies and it's been a long time for that kind of excitement. Icardi's movement on both goals, especially the first, was just amazing. I loved how Candreva celebrated the goals - it was clear he wanted to score one for himself.
Easily the best game of the season for me and the perfect one to wrap up the year.

My girl didn't want to watch it and so I've missed another great game it seems, I've missed very few this season, and Juve and now Lazio is one of them! I got to watch Juve as someone posted after I asked for it, any saints out there willing to do the same again?
