Happy with the 1st half, could've had a few more goals, could've conceded a few, so can't complain on balance.

With his price tag everyone will be judging Lukaku, I thought he was ok. He gave the ball away once but otherwise didn't do much wrong. If he got those 2 chances that Lautaro got he would've buried them. Sensi is a baller, could prove to be our best acquisition of the mercato.

So great to have Sensiball next to Brozo. You can see Brozo has lost a weight on his shoulders to always deliver that pass like in previous seasons. A jury still watching Lukaku. Small mistakes here and there, that pass to Lautaro instead of free Brozo was a shit move.

I can see what people meant by Lukaku's lack of fitness. He has hardly run that much and he looks exhausted. I guess he also doesn't have experience in this weather, its 28 deg in Milan this evening.

Conte's stamp on this team is clear. We are already playing his brand of football. The wingbacks are doing well, and so are the two goal scoring midfielders. But we clearly need at least 1 striker more. Lukaku is playing like Man Utd Lukaku, and Martinez isn't ready to lead our attack yet. We also need SMS/Vidal to help us rotate the midfield. If we can give Conte some more quality, he can achieve things here.

Finally, we know how to play football. Great performance from Candreva and Sensi, but in general our midfield and attacker are playing good.

The defense, however, looked shaky. Thankfully, its lecce. Any decent team in serie-A, let alone the UCL, will capitalize from that. It may be because de vrij and godin is absent. But I do not think its the problem because rannochia doing pretty decent in defense in the first half. It's the formation that makes us playing without a designated DMF. combination of Brozo and Sensi does not filter enough which makes the defense exposed

How the fuck is possible Conte to turn Candreva into a decent player but Vecino is same shit?
Lukaku is looking overweight. It's obvious that he struggles but i hope that he'll be fit soon.
The midfielders can score outside of the penalty area if they have a space enough. Did you know it Spalletti?
Anyway i like the hunger and determination of the team even thou last 15 min we saw good old Inter waiting to concede.

He didn't play a single preseason game, it's to be expected that he is lacking sharpness.

Some thoughts so far.

Candreva is our best player. Followed by Sensi. Asamoah is also quite active but not that great. The rest aren't much.

Everyone who knows about 352s knows that the wing defence is a hell and you need a well drilled team to execute it. Ours is not. And we are constantly exposed by a Serie B team and luckily we have Handanovic and they are, well, a Serie B team.

Individual moments from Brozo and Sensi within 3 minutes (and an overall 8 minute streak of dominance) is what sets up apart. This Lecce team should be toothless but we seem to have worries at the back and our lack of understanding of where each player has to go shows a lot.

Finally playing with 2 players up front liberated our midfield to shoot more.

Game should end 5-0 really.

PS. I cannot stand watching that Lecce player who looks like the bastard child of Montolivo and Modric
