Leaving Figo/Jimenez out will cost us this match. Thumbs up for Rivas though. He can match Torres on speed.

I thought Crespo is a better option overall Cruz who hasnt been doing two well in his last starts..I dont know why we dont have either Figo or Jimi not on,does Mancio realize we need to win this one with 2 goal difference ?>!

Dont complain, its the best we can field.

That said, mascherano, lucas and gerrard will most likely have an easy time shutting off that slight bit of combination play we can do in midfield.

I see alot of long balls forward again in this game, because our midfield surely arent good enough to break through their middle.

Burdisso and rivas, both are fairly fast, but i think liverpool will most likely score. Burdisso is also a likely candidate to get a red, i dont trust him.

Like Jimmy, I think all of us have the feeling that this is unrealistic. But you know, there is always hope that someone will pull off something.

and Ibra and Cruz had the day of their lives

Matrix fuked us last time for being a dumbass and we need to wait till next year

blame Rivas and Burdisso all u want but we have no one else and need to wait till next season, but at least we will win the italian league

We could field Jimenez, or Figo and move Zanetti to left back. We could also play with 3 strikers. We need goals, so it's far from the best we can field.

I wouldn't like to comment on the line-up even though I would have to admit that I didn't like it, coz Mancini has played a safe game despite being down by 2 goals. It would mean that we won't give space to Liverpool but at the same time, we risk of being deprived of a pure attacking midfielder in Jimenez/Figo.

Rivas-Burdisso should be able to look after Torres and it won't be an easy task at all.

But I was so hopeful that Mancini would have started with an all attack line-up. It's a risk not to have played Figo/Jimenez but I would very much hope that I am totally wrong.

Figo will most likely be introduced later in the game, he needs to get on the pitch when the liverpool players starts to tire up. Its useless to play him from the start, as he is slow to do anything then.

We're played 3 strikers numerous times this season so it's hardly an experiment. And besides, why not? Mancini always experiments. The only difference is he always experiments when the game is 0-0 and we have everything to lose. Today we have everything to win.

Jimenez has done better than Figo, but i don't expect you to agree.

We are playing very well but not that dangerous. We should really take advantages of set pieces. Liverpool is waiting to counter-attack.

HUge miss by Cruz, who could have just passed to Stankovic as well. We are getting close though.

Sadly, Liverpool is also creating here and there on counter-attacks.

Zlatan, J.Zanetti, Burdisso are having a good game but I definitely think that we are missing Figo. Vieira for me is not involved much at all.

We need someone to break the liverpool defence line with one last great touch in the D-box.

Another great chance.

And now half time. We need to bring Figo and we should really improve with our set pieces.

In total, we created 3 great chances which could have gone in, just like it went when Liverpool made 2-0 at Anfield. We also need luck.

For god sake, we suck with our set pieces. Figo should be brought in, for Cambiasso/Vieira/Rivas ?? Not sure with that.

Vieira seems to be getting along with the game now and may be he might be useful in the second half. It's time to take the risk and I think that we should bring Figo for Rivas and play J.Zanetti in the LB.

Mancini, don't wait till the 80th minute to make the changes.

Last but not the least, I hope Burdisso does well to keep him off the second card.
