After a quick look on their forums there are two types of Liverpool fans:

- The typical EPL fans who consider Inter at the level of Arsenal, Spurs and even Leicester and Serie A at the level of Championship
- fans who treat the game with optimism, excitement but also respect towards Inter

They are mostly concerned about Dzeko, Lautaro and Hakan set pieces.

We'll soon see if we do as well against Liverpool as they did!
They are currently top and their team is absolute wank bar 2 or 3 players, so it's not going too badly for them. They also spend something like 80m less on wages.

Physical and pace isnt working together. Our game really depend on physical and aerial duel. Pace isnt really needed. Based from Inzaghi physical gameplay, Marotta co had signed Dzeko, Dumfries to fulfill Inzaghi system.

Seriously, even a Thuram or a Boga would do wonders for us, regardless of their lack of an exact tactical placement in a 3-5-2.

Milan have always liked their flashy, technical players. One reason they've had much more success in Europe. We generally prefer bland but "reliable" workhorses. Soldiers as opposed to artists.

In terms of having a squad ready to compete in Europe, we probably set ourselves back 5 years with the last mercato. Despite lacking creativity and flair, at the very least we had some physical beasts in Hakimi and Lukaku who could bulldoze opponents. Eriksen was developing nicely as a balanced CM who provided artistry as well as the hard graft. As we all know, that killer pace has been made utterly extinct in our squad while we still have the same problem with the lack of creativity.

By comparison, Chelsea's 3421 system works significantly better than ours because each and every one of their players is far more athletically dynamic than ours, not to mention more technically proficient. In terms of squad balance, we've neglected technique and flair and speed and our team make-up is simply too far workman-like and industrious. You don't get far in Europe like that.
