Very INTERtaining game :D

I wouldn't say we played spectacular football, it's more like Livorno (who were mostly at 10 men) played pretty much horrible football. Most our goals came from defensive errors.

I was so happy to see Burdisso get a huge ovation at the San Siro on his return :proud:

Everyone had an excellent game but my Man Of The Match would be Giuseppe Favalli :proud:

FORZA INTER !!!
:star:

Quote from Veron after today's match:

Seba joked about his spectacular long-range volley in the second half, adding: "I nearly scored from 40 yards? If that had gone in I would have stopped playing football."

my internet connection sucks, but I am so happy that we trash them 5-0...

it's only on our courtesy that our boys hesitate to humiliate livorno even more...

Damn we needed that. All these 1-0 wins had me on the edge but it's good to see we can still completely destroy opponents. What a return for Coco too! I think it's safe to say he won't be coming back from his loan spell anytime soon. :D

Good performance by our entire team and a good boost of morale before the Porto game, not to mention a tougher Serie A schedule. A very emotional return by Nico, nice to hear the Nerazzurri faithful give him his welcome back! :proud:

Forza Ragazzi!

Also congrats to Matrix, Cordoba, Cuchu and El Chino for scoring their first goals of the season. :star:

Damn you Mike, I was thinking of this word a while ago, and imagining it written in a newspaper! You better run and patent it now.

One more thing, the pitch of Meazza is h-o-r-r-i-b-l-e! I saw many players slip, and lose control of the ball. Something has to be done.

Agree with you Hamed. I thought that we would be having an artifical turf for this season after UEFA allowed Champs League matches to be played on artificial turf, isn't it true ?

As for the game, we completely dominated our opponent, also coz our opponent played a really bad game and gave up after being 2/3 goals down.

Recoba, Solari had a good game and I am very happy for Recoba's goal, which I was desparately waiting for.

Anywaz ... a good Inter ... :star:

Nice game. A little weird thing is we have no draw this season, and good thing is if we score first then we will win, but if we let our opponents score, we lose.

damn, what a great game guys, the 3 players that i hoped they would play good, played great,i am talking about favalli, recoba and solari, great to see burdisso back again, this squad can go far,and mancini is a great coach, like it or not,the guy has guts,he has transformed our inter, from a boring defending team into a lively spirited family, thank you god,and i think there is still more to come,we can EASILY,and i say EASILY win the scudetto if we continue like this, and we can even go far in the CL and Cup with the squad depth we have, and this game we played without some key players, that shows u how strong our inter is,inshallah the wins will keep on coming

No doubt. At times, he even looked like an offensive left winger .. :D

Btw, I loved the substitutions made by Mancini in this match, except one !! I was expecting Veron to be subbed after we took 3 goals' lead, coz (1) He was already yellow carded & (2) To rest him if Mancini had any plan to start him against Porto.

Burdisso :proud:

We dominated today! :)

I didn't manage to watch the game , it's always a pleasure to perform so well!!!
Good to hear that Solari and Recoba were very good!
We needed an extensive win after all those 1-0 wins :finger:
I have to admit that I was amazed by our line up today
It worked perfect, good job by Mancini!

Burdisso is back at last :proud:
FORZA BURDISSO!!!

Good overall performance from our boys. Anything less than a win would have been disastrous however what impressed me was how we approached the game from minute one.
The 5 – 0 score line was also nice little slap in the face to a certain Brazilian which was icing on the cake. ;)

Despite playing midweek Chino played well with a lot of enthusiasm. In a nut shell he really took advantage of Adriano’s absent. One could not have asked for more. He was lively, asked for the ball, and the best part was the he played for the team. Basically worthy of the captains band he was.

It was also a pleasure to see 3 of our passionate players (Matrix, Cordoba and Cambiasso) score. One may want to add Chino to that list as well.

One of those days where you ask yourself..

"If Chino could play like this every 2nd weekend, what would he be??"

An amazing win, albeit against Livorno. A 5-0 victory against any side is something to be proud of. What a great way to put our loss against juventus behind us. We need to keep this winning mentality throughout the season.

Anyway, I read from Channel4.com that Veron snubbed Adriano for delaying his flight back to Italy. What happened?

I don't wanna ruin the party, but I still hope Pizarro can take Veron's place well... This night we have inter color with Veron's playing.. as he can dictate the tempo...
I just wish pizarro could do the same..

On Solari and Chino.., I am so happy... Chino to me is still far from his best.. but I am proud to see his determination... This is one road to his own success... I am seeing Chino in different characteristics.. Everyone in inter want to see him success... As Solari, this guy could play and also he is pretty versatile, he spent the last 10 minutes to the center midfield and do well there...

In my eyes, this is still not the best inter... Inter certainly plays so well, but we completely made our opponent clueless... Inter still has the potential to improve more.. Playing against Udinese will make us to bring everything we have...

as the man of the match, I would vote Solari as he played so well, or Matrix as he is involved in two goals...
