When we met City we were in a good form, right now we would be completely smashed to pieces by a team like Barca, City and co. We would not stand a single chance… we are not even remotely anywhere the level we played in that final, right now we are rubbish and been rubbish ever since the Genoa game.
You cannot put you beliefs up on something that happened closer to one year ago, it’s the current form that matters and it’s nowhere to be found
Thankfully there is international break it could not possibly have arrived at a better time… because right now we are mentally and physically not where we need to be.
Bro had both hands wrapped around Buchanan and was applying his body weight through his chest. Those were both fouls. Ref would have given those to Dimarco tbh.
Imo, we were better but again we just switched off last minutes and allowed them to siege us in our penalty area.Juan Jesus scoring against us is the ultimate dick punch.
Not a great performance but not a bad performance either. A draw is probably the right result. The international break is coming at the right time tbh. We need to recharge and refocus for the final push.
Self destructing sounds quite a hyperbole, but carry on with this narrative guys. The goal off the corner was the direct result of us self destructing in our own half.
People thought we would get "smashed to pieces" by City last year. I'd argue we've been a superior team this year.
The difference is against City there was no pressure, as no one expected anything. Against Atletico we were slight favourites and choked on a massive dick.
This team has a mental problem more than anything.
I don't get it either tbh. I get certain criticism about the coach and some players, some things definitely need to improve on an individual level, but as a team if someone told me a year ago we will be having this type of season, especially regarding our defense and how solid we were there, I would have laughed him off.I'm wondering why some people are so riled up? Because they want to reach Juve's record?
I really can't see how Inter doesn't win this second star in the next 5 matchdays. Milan plays the second leg against Roma 3 days before the derby. I fully expect a good result against Milan, who have to play Juve directly after that game.
That just rubs salt in the wound of the utter failure on Wednesday. Barca are awful this season and smashed them and we couldn't get a result...Wouldn't be so harsh to this unsatisfactory result. ATM get destroyed 0-3 by Barcelona at their home too. Both teams gassed out after 120+ minutes.
The break can't come at better time.
It’s because we had two “poor” results in a row. I think we’re afraid to say it but we’re all secretly a little afraid of a blackout. Just part of being an Inter fan I guess.I'm wondering why some people are so riled up? Because they want to reach Juve's record?
