Well, I never said I want Maicon to play instead of Zanetti. It would be stupid as hell.

Nor I said I want Javier to play on the left. I just pointed out, that Maicon played a lot, A LOT better when we played 4-3-3 than when we played 4-4-2 formation. Don't you agree ?

The right side is 100% reserved for Javier, and left is for Grosso/Maxwell, and that is obvious.


What about Pizarro ?

As I said countless times, there is no way we can play 4-4-2 with those players we have, it would be stupid, as 4-4-2 biggest advantage, are the wings, and we don't have them.

Figo was good, but I'm afraid he won't be this year, and I don't think he will manage to be a starter for most of the season. Stankovic was never winger, and he never will be.

Cesar os shit, and Solari is not good enough for first team.

Our greatest force right now is:
- Strikers
- Centrall midfielders
- Side backs

All this is the most crucial in 4-3-3. It is the best suited tactic for us right now, and the match last night when Mancio could play it for the first time, and he did, is the best prove of that.

Excelent post.I agree in everything BUT you need to have good coach to play this tactic and I'm not sure if Mancini can do that.Time will tell us.

We played without Vieira, Ibrahimovic, Grosso, Maxwell, Recoba, Figo, Crespo!

Did you ever watch the game? Juve was playing mostly using counter attacks, as we were much better than them. They scored from set piece, when Toldo made a mistake. We had plenty situations, and plenty shots, we made some great moves. Vieira and Cambiasso/Stan will kick some ass in the midfield, therefore Pizarro will have a lot a lot free space.

Another thing is that we played for last 10-15 days lots of friendlies. It is also one of the few times we played this tactic for a long time.

and by the way...u asked u on another topic if u have any idea about some polish players...u never answered..i gueess u dont know anything about them.

Absolutely. And just for the record, I was piss** at Mancini after Villareal game like I was never before, and I agree that Mancio is just to risky coach. But maybe those 2 years did good for him, we'll see.

If we were supposed to play 4-4-2 another year with Mancini I would be pretty sure we will have another bad year, but seeing new approch to the tactic is kinda interesting to me. And from what I've known Mancio prefers 4-3-3 over 4-4-2, so maybe he is better coach with this tactic. Let's just hope. What I can tell, is that I saw a big pottential in the first 30 minutes against Juve, and with Vieira, Ibrahimovic, Grosso/Maxwell, I'm sure... you all will be suprised (positively :> ).

Anyway, it's to late for that now, so what can we do ?
