this is Serie A.

Well its an important game.

Why? Not for the scudetto... but because we can study them for the coppa italia, one of the only things left for us now :D

Now the break. Mancini should really "work" the players but mostly "work" the team.
About parma, victory (as always) is the only option. And I mean a big one.
That would give us the mental boost we are desperate for.
It is still soon to tell, but Recoba should start in Adriano's place, J. Zanetti and C. Zanetti back on the first team, and please no more Mihajlovic from the start.

ALWAYS INTER

Dont worry! Miha is not going to start. He is injured again. I really feel sorry for him ´cause he just got his knee ok and right after that he hurted himself again.

My lineup will be

Cesar

J.Zanetti - Cordoba - Samuel - Favalli

Figo - C.Zanetti - Veron - Solari

Cruz (Martins) - Recoba

Firstly I want to have Toldo back in our starting eleven but since cesar is doing quite good job then he will be my nro 1 choice

I want to have Capitano back. he said he is ok so Mancini should play him because he is the heart and soul of our team. The true leader! This will let us play with the best possible defense line. I am so eager to see how Cordoba and Samuel are doing together.

In our Midfiels C.Zanetti played good minutes last time. I would like to give him a starting place and rest cambiasso.
Is Veron still unavailable? If he is not then Veron is my choice he is the one who can lead our midfield. I believe that Veron will have more influence to our whole team than Pizarro or Figo ( Who shouted to Adriano in last game) Veron is a real Fighter so I want to have him as an example to others.

Our attack. Hmm..This is a tough call.

FIrst of all Adriano will sit on a bench! He have to get himself together. I f he is not Fit enough to play why we play him. He will only get frustrated because he are not on form.

Cruz is our top scorer so I would like to see him as a starter and no one can say that he haven¨t deserved that place.I would also put Recoba on the field. He has been really good this year. All he needs is just little time on the field so can start scoring. He have been creating a lot lately but still he is missing some goals.
It would be also interesting to see Martins playing with Recoba. Recoba as a supporting striker.I believe that recobas passes to Martins could be very lethal!

But lets hope we can win this one. And I truly believe that we will if Mancini just puts our best men on the field,

I think it's all wins at the S Siro against them apart the draw last year ;)

I actually just realized that we are not that bad.

We did about the same as Arsenal (who have 6 wins 2 draws 3 losses too), Real Madrid (who lost 4 matches in the league already) and Manchester United (who achieved 1 point more than we did after 11 matches, but we did way better in CL)

And we are still 5 points better we did at this point last season!

so...if we win like we did in the second half of last season, who knows we will not win Scudetto? ;)

Not really. ;) A quick one out of the back of my head: Adriano tore our defence apart before making the assist for Mutu in our meeting with Parma in 02/03. Mutu later said that "he couldn't believe Adriano passed the ball" to him. :D The pair scored 30+ goals that season but both were known for their selfishness.

So , anyways, I'm too busy (lazy) to do a detailed report so here's our recent matches with them:

Well, we had an even better record against Roma at the San Siro, and look what happened! :(

This year, all bets are off. With this team and Mancini at the helm, nobody knows what's going to happen. We could potentially unleash a livewire in Adriano, or end up struggling to get a shot on target all game long. In short, we're in for a rollercoaster ride.

Ciao,
Tim

On a positive note, we did manage to get 3 points in Udine after years of failing to do so. If you think about it, it's not that we're going that slow, it's just Juve (10 wins out of 11) and Milan (8 straight wins) that are just flying.

2004/05 Inter - Parma 2-2 (17' Gilardino, 74' Martins, 76' Marchionni, 84' Martins)

Since Parma won promotion to the Serie A at the beginning of the 90s, the abovementioned is a list of all home games played against Parma in the league. Of the 15 games played, Inter has won 8, drawn 6 and lost just once, taking a total tally of 30 out of 45 points, scoring 26 and conceding 15. So yeah, i would say our record against Parma is pretty good at the San Siro.

Ciao,
Tim

well, I personally don't like drawing inferences from past records, especially when Adriano was actually on their team couple seasons back

What matters most is our CURRENT form. I'm worried since JZ is still benched and Adriano and Martins are not in shape.

Guys it's November.

No-f*cking-vember.

Now I know we've been playing like a team comparable to Chivas USA but we can still get up to 2nd even 1st place. :D

I'm crazy, right? I'm an idiot in denial! :dielaugh:

No. I believe that we got the harder part of the season almost past us. Now it's Juve and Milan's turn and we can gain on them with some easier teams. While gaining form on the easier teams and hopefully maintaining our form, we can end our 2nd half of the season as well as last years.

spot on, it's time to bench Adriano and Martins until they regain their form, just sub them in when Cruz or Recoba is doing really bad
