They Chelsea wanted to WIN get that to your head, Mourinho is a winner he dosent like to lose not even if it was a friendly match for cheraty :dielaugh: , Chelsea wanted that game or at least a point but FCp did turn it around and did score 2 goals.

Whatever, motivations were very different anyway, and if that was a knockout game, you could just forget winning it.

I know you're a fan and you can't see things objectively but Porto was one of the poorest sides in the group stage.

Why can´t a fan be objective if he/she sets his/her mind to it? :)

A true fan will never be completely objective, it's impossible for him to judge the situation from an objective point of view.

Above all considerations, the faith and love for your team will always influence your judgements.

I know your used to tie's and 0-0 games and that is crazy excitment for you, but we are used to winning always in the league, cups and europe, so your a team in our way for the double. We might not be as strong and organized as before, but I still beleive in this F.C Porto and BRING IT INTER!!! show us you come to play real football and not a 0-0 draw.

When you have that CL patch do some more talk, Mancini likes to talk he can talk about the 4-1 he took to italia. ;) SD-T

So that's why your Porto finished 0-0 last night then? :p

Orlando, Chelsea's lineup against Porto was not there regular line up there were several changes in the line up. Also when Chelsea actually played they wooped Porto 3-0.

Also you obviously have no idea about Inter if you think we'll draw 0-0 and play dull. Inter is the most exciting team out there and we are certainly not used to 0-0 ties we are used to ties 2-2 3-3 :D . I would like to add that your precious Porto tied 0-0 to Guimares who is not even close to the class of Milan.

Also you keep showing pictures of Porto's champions league victory last year like we are supposed to be scared. Last year Porto had lots of world class players and alot of them are now gone. Deco,Paulo Ferriera,Ricardo Carvalho to name a few. I don't have to mention that a big part of Porto's success was due to the great coach Jose Mourinho. I hope you're not nieve enough to think Porto will repeat this year. The big clubs have learned their lesson and will not underestimate the lesser opponents. They will go out there play with class and have respect for their opponents regardless of who it may be. This is what Inter will do. They will walk into Porto and beat your precious team in front of your fans then they will finish the job in Milano.

Yes priceless :dielaugh: 3-0 and Benni McCarthy's goal was taken off because a Inter fan said 3-0 :D watch a game then comment on it, in fact go to a game.

3-1 kid learn the facts and it was indeed priceless the 3-0 on Monaco in Germany. ;)

--Drogba(Kezman)---Duff---

pretty much what I remember that they fielded as you can see not a strong team just Mourinho's regular's that are destroying the EPL and the CL, kid learn football before you make a comment on it, unless you like the title dumb stuck to you.

And Mourinho is a professional and a coach that always wants to win, that game was the 2nd most important to him for Chelsea in the CL the other is being in the final's again and winning it. Dont kid yourself with typicall bullsh;t just because you might be jelous of Porto or have a hate for the portuguese.

I dont care about what happend for us to get to final 16, all I know is my team Porto is there and we are the defending european champions like it or not and some team is in our way and that is Inter, do I think it will be easy heck know as Inter is a very good side, but do I beleive Porto can do it sure, or I wouldent be posting and wasting my time.

I know if all our players play to their potential and Inter comes to play football and not draw, that this leg in Porto can be one of the best in CL, and make a intresting second leg.

We drew 0-0 on the weekend and that is like 17 points we droped at home in a tight league race.

If you look hard you can still see we are at the top, so dont laugh too much... ;) That was with no Costa,Maniche,Seteridis and Emmanuel the 0-0 draw, they were suspended, but wont be for Inter.

. I hope you're not nieve enough to think Porto will repeat this year. The big clubs have learned their lesson and will not underestimate the lesser opponents. :dielaugh: ever try stand up comedy as that was great stuff... You will beat us in Porto so why the need to finish us in Milano? As for the top I agree, We will indeed not understimate a lesser oponent like Inter, sure you havent won anything in ages like Benficaca but we must concentrate and know a team like Inter can maybe beat the european champ. The big clubs like Porto have indeed learned their lesson look at PSG great example they trashed us in Paris when we tought it was a walk in the park.

We will indeed be ready. ;)

I will chat more after the game...

I like FC Porto, Inter however is a bigger club. Everything can happen at this stage of CL where all the teams have quality.

Talking about our team like Benni is bad mentality. That will only send you back to the harbour. :lala:

Wow you scored 1 goal do you want a trophy. Chelsea outplayed you and made last years victory look like a fluke. Also you obviously don't know Chelsea's regulars.

--Chech----

--Ferreira--Carvalho--Terry--Gallas---

--Smertin(Tiago)--Parker(Robben)---Bridge---

----Lampard-----

--Drogba(Kezman)---Duff---

Smertin,Parker,Bridge,Tiago don't play, Duff is not a striker and Drogba plays ahead of Kezman. Gudjohnson is Chelsea's starting striker ahead of Kezman as well. Chelsea was already through and Mourinho had no interest. He probably played a weaker side because he wanted Porto to win because he still has some feelings for the team. Also I was saying Porto is a lesser side then Inter. The fact that you think Porto is better makes me laugh so badly :dielaugh:. Porto plays in the Portugese league which is one of the worst leagues in Europe. No wonder Porto wins. Portugese league doesn't have class sides like Serie A. Porto is not a big club compared to the teams in the Champions League. Inter.Chelsea,Milan,Juventus,Real Madrid,Manchester United,Arsenal,Bayern Munich,Lyon are all better then Porto. Inter will finish the job in Milano because there is 2 legs. We will win in portugal then send you guys back home with a thrashing at the beautiful San Siro. If Inter was in the portugese league they'd win everything there is to win. I know you love Porto but that doesn't mean you can't be objective. As I said earlier the Portugese league doesn't come close to Serie A, EPL or La Liga. Spare me the lame stupid personal insults because although I'm young I know more about football then you'll ever know.

"pretty much what I remember that they fielded as you can see not a strong team just Mourinho's regular's that are destroying the EPL and the CL, kid learn football before you make a comment on it, unless you like the title dumb stuck to you. "

clearly you are the one who should have the title dumb because as I pointed out earlier those aren't Chelsea's regulars In either competition. Show a little more respect towards people as well. You think you are better because you are older or something? Just some advice you don't come into somebody's home and insult them especially if you do it stupidly. Me and Helal didn't deserve the disrespect you showed us.

Do you even play football?

Hi guys,

Porto fan here....and also Juventus.....from the old days...John Charles,Sivori...

Just to correct you on the Chelsea line up at Porto....
The ONE and ONLY absentee from Chelsea very best team was Makelele.
The reason i know this well.....is that in the previous Chelsea game against PSG.....they fielded six reserves and only tied PSG 0-0....which placed Porto in a bad position....so when Mourinho played his best line up at Porto....i was not at all happy.

Inter is favourite to advance....mainly because Porto has a lot of new players and coach...and they are learning the baby steps.....and you have three of my fav. players...Zanetti,Adriano and Chino...

Also for your info....the portuguese league (clubs) are ranked sixth by Uefa...far from being at bottom.

Greetings and NO luck from Canada.

Hello Portoism, welcome to the forums.

I am still confused about some of the players' movements. Are Derlei and C. Alberto still in the team? Also, can you tell us about some of the new brazilian players that Porto brought over to fill the gaps?

Carlos Alberto has been sold to a Brazillian club. Corinthians if I'm not wrong.

Now guys, it's always good to have an argument, debate or banter with rival fans but let's be polite with each other and don't let the argument be too heated. :) I'd also like to take this opportunity to welcome all Porto fans to the forum. ;)

Well, I'm not surprised that they do that, Oba. (Joining the forum just because of this tie). It's a tradition between fans done regularly in the past and I bet there are Interisti who joined Porto forums just for this occasion as well.

And please no more silly provocations. Let's not call each other "dumb f*ck" or "idiots" or "f*cked up" anymore. Where's the love?
