We can still play 4312 if a winger or wingers comes and Hernanes stays. We will have much versatility, yo.

Kind of agree with Icardiscores on that one actually - I'd rather we focussed on a top class Palacio replacement/backup and stuck with 4-3-1-2 this season, then get some wingers with the CL money we SHOULD receive as they are more necessary in europe. Keeping Shaqiri and getting a forward who is comfortable out wide would allow us some level versatility if needed. Doesn't look like it's happening though.

That's why I think it'd be best to only get Jovetic and keep Shaqiri. We can easily shift to 4-3-1-2, 4-3-3, 4-2-3-1 with these players.

Yeah I also feel that rhe 4312 is better suited for us. It has given the midfield a good structure and the current players seem comfortable with it.

Like tgdella saod, we should just look for one quality SS. And maybe invest in a good LB.

I aslo think 4312 is better for us, better for Kovacic and Kondogbia, no need to spent money for new DMC, just need LB and Jovetic or Salah (also can play as ST i watched him with Basel he played very well at that position)

This is preseason, meaning it's preseason for everything. You have to get your reps in. How do you expect him to be able to perform them in the game if cannot perform them in practice?
