Lets face it, if we had the now happy and fierce San Siro crowd and if we have our shooting boots on...we could go into double figures against them...I mean...look where they're @ in the Scottish table.

But I guess their better off in Europe with their European players. Julien Rodriguez is a good defender, can't believe he left Monaco for Rangers, same goes for Prso. I'm wary of their spirit...that is the only thing that concerns me about their team.
But we will also be resting some players for the upcoming game against the Gobbi/cheaters/wankers/dickheads aka penis heads, fireman heads, free willy heads etc.

My team would be:

Cesar
Burdisso Samuel Cordoba Wome
ZeMaria Pizarro Cambiasso Solari
Cruz Martins

I don't think burdisso will be fit for this game
my team is down, adriano and cruz are 2 great head players, and they will have a lot of crosses from solari and ze maria.

rangers have good jumpers too so samuel and matrix should play and outjump them

I think this is the perfect chance to introduce Burdisso. Our next schedule is tough, and our following CL game will be Porto away.

Solari should also start, but Stan shouldn't be rested. We have to rest Cambiasso, he was almost injured against Fiore, and I believe he got a knock. Unfortunately, there is no Kara or Davids when you need them, so I say we use Stan as a DM in this one alongside Pizarro.

Upfront, it should be Cruz and Recoba. ZM on the right, and I'd love to see Cordoba -- Samuel in the middle. LB should be Wome's, Favalli played alot of consecutive games so far.

Well our last 3 match threads have been started by catanha and..we've won them all and conceded no goals! (Lecce, Chievo, Fiorentina).

So based on that I'm predicting a good 2-0 win. 2-0 is a very healthy scoreline and even though we have no crowd we should be able to win comfortably against such a poor opposition.

One of their best players has been ruled out - Nacho Novo.

Let's compare the two teams....... Rangers are fifth in a league of 12 teams (most of which would lose to Artmedia -- oh that's right Celtic lost 5-0) and have a record of 4 wins, 1 draw and 3 losses. They have 13 points from 8 games.

On the other hand, INTER, are 2nd in a league of 20 teams and have a record of 4 wins, 1 loss. We have 12 points from 5 games.

It'd be wise to not underestimate any European competition. Rangers may be sucking in the SPL but CL games are something entirely different and it doesn't help they'll be no atmosphere at the Meazza. If it wasn't behind closed doors, we'd have a sizable advantage but I guess the team will have to make do.

Browsed through some Rangers fan forums and it doesn't sound like they're very confident. Oba's blinding pace also seems to worry them so hopefully Mancio will go with him and whoever else. Maybe Recoba?

This is a big statement game for Pizarro, amongst others, as he really needs to show Mancio he's not a utlility player, what with Seba's good form early on. Wome should get the nod at LB; Favalli can't be expected to start every game and we'll need him fresh for Gobbi. I don't think we need too many other changes from the Viola game, except maybe rest Figo.

Cesar
Cordoba Samuel Matrix Wome
Ze Maria Cambiasso Pizarro Deki
Recoba Oba

I think Mancini will play Cruz + Recoba upfront. In defense, Wome will sub Favalli, and the other 3 guys will play consecutive games again. In the middle field, Pizarro definitely is in the line-up, but the rest 3 roles? I don't know which ones the coach will choose. Maybe we can see some youth player..

I don't acquaint the Rangers at all. I don't know their any player.

I hope the team changes a bit. Rest for Stankovic or Figo or even both. Solari and Ze Maria should play. Pizarro plays with Cuchu. Defence will not change propably at all, if Wome won't get his chace suprisingly.

Recoba-Cruz could start again. Or atleast another of them. This isn't the most impotant thing of next weak.

Catanha, what about Juve-match topic? It must be created before wednesday and on the other hand you cannot create it before we win Rangers. That would cause bad luck.

I think the minute the Rangers game is over, I'll create one.
Thats if we beat Rangers ofcourse.

helal, you're a bit of a expert on things British...can you give us some info on Rangers? I know their hero is Barry Ferguson...but didn't he flop @ Blackburn?

Id hardly say he was a 'flop', he joined them for about £7mil from Rangers. But before he left he actually handed in a transfer request to Blackburn and Souness, making it clear he wants to leave and only to Rangers.

He just had a real hard time in B'burn, he actually broke his knee cap against Newcastle in 2003 which made him miss the rest of the season.

Anyway as everybody knows, terrible start for Rangers in the league and I dont see them winning it this year. Good home form, but terrible away from home and it should not be a hard game for inter. Novo is out but there still is Prso and Buffel whos a young and very talented player (ask squadra lol). Ferguson and Ricksen will most likely play in midfield and I think thats quite a good pair but anyway there not in their highest vein of form.

I don't want Henry. Henry is selfish. of course great striker. but not champion. Rather I wish Moratti buy Totti.

But Adriano-Oba already best.

We should definitely not underestimate Rangers. They may not be performing very well in the league, but this is the Champions League. And without our fans, anything can happen. It's just like with Arsenal. They always seem to obtain results in the EPL, but not in the CL. So, we've got to be careful.

And as for Moratti wanting to buy Henry, that may be a very good move. If Arsenal doesn't win anything this season, Henry may be disillusioned, and wants a move. Adriano and Henry partnership certianly does make my mouth water. Just hope that Henry can get back his form though, since the last few times I watched him this season, he seems to be lacking of the skills he once had.
