Notes:
Figo will substitue with Dacourt if things screw up in the second half. I guess Burdisso will be placed on the left to hold Mancini tight. Since Taddei may not be a starter, Maicon will be more free to have runs. Let's hope Recoba will get some minutes too! He's been waiting for a decade and of no doubt, he deserves at least an appearance. Cafe, Chiino, Pupi, Deki, Cuchu and Matrix's morale will be unquestionable in this game.

P.S. I would love to see Moratti wearing an Inter jersey tomorrow and ran onto the pitch with the players if we win.

Back to the game, I expect Stan to start in place of Dacourt and Figo behind Zlatan and Cruz. Its a dilemma actually, Cruz or Adri, both are the same if they start.

Roma boss Luciano Spalletti has maintained that Inter deserve to win Lo Scudetto on the eve of their possible title decider.

The two teams meet at the San Siro on Wednesday where the Nerazzurri will be crowned Campioni d’Italia with a victory against the Romans – currently 16 points adrift in second.

“The gap between us mirrors the behaviour of the two teams this season. They are a great side, while we are only a good one,” said Spalletti.

“Inter have exploited their qualities and they deserve to win the Scudetto. After all, we must not forget that they haven’t lost in the League this year.

“This means they have a strong squad and a winning mentality, they deserve our compliments.”

When asked why his side have been unable to keep in touch with Mancini’s men, Spalletti had few doubts.

“We have done well, but dropped some points which means we can still improve,” he responded.

“The difference in investments made at the start of the season is a factor, especially when there is such a wide gap, but I don’t want that to be an excuse for us.”

The Giallorossi boss has yet to decide on what formation he will field in an attempt to postpone Inter’s Scudetto celebrations.

“Max Tonetto has recovered and is available, but I might opt for the same defence seen in Sunday’s match with Sampdoria,” explained Spalletti. 

“We must remember that they are very good when it comes to aerial balls.”

When questioned on Francesco Totti, the Coach could not hide his satisfaction over the captain’s season.

“He has played a great championship, especially when you take into consideration a host of issues which he has had to deal with.

“He had to adapt to a new role, but we must applaud him because he did so immediately and has scored many goals.”

Just wanna remind you guys that Roma beat us at home last season 2-3 in the most unexpected of outcomes and I really do think that most of you seem to have taken this for granted. We have not won the Scudetto yet and may not even win it tomorrow.

I'm not saying we won't win, but with all due respect, I really do hope that none of the players approach this match with the complacent attitude that is displayed on this forum.
