Draw was a fair result. Inter were so shit at the first half. Second half Roma was exhausted that they couldn't press anymore so Inter took control. Lousy finishing, though Alisson was in god-mode.

When it comes to our midfield, it's indeed irreparable in this window. Vecino is good all-around midfielder and I'd keep him there. But Gagliardini is just so bad and out of sync and Valero has no legs anymore for today's football that they should be ditched both from our starting lineup. Hopefully Rafinha replaces either of them.

Anyway, we played well, I don't think Handanovic make a single save all night and basically gifted them the goal.

I think the main take away is we need someone other than Icardi to get the goals, Perisic and Valero looked surprised when the opportunities fell to them. Cancelo is excellent and it looks like he's starting to get along with Candreva which could be interesting.

I like that we played more through the middle today btw.

At least a few chances were like that. Icardi was put through on goal twice through the middle, and there was also that chance for Eder. Now, if only it was our midfielders doing more of those passes than the centre-backs...
