It's a long season and we have a very thin roster. Anything the coach does to select a team would meet a lot of negativity.

While I do think that Gosens should be starting eventually, I'd rather see him starting vs Fiorentina and vs Plzen than today where freaking Candreva will be tormenting his side. We may not rate the guy because he wasn't what we wanted, but he can be an annoying fuck to defend against and I wouldn't throw Gosens in so deep. Not that Dimarco can do better but at least he's faster and can help more there.
Let's hope Acerbi out wide is not going to be an issue.

My main concern is that we lack pace. In general, not for today. Every season we seem to get slower and slower.

Dimarco isn't faster than Gosens. And i doubt Gosens will start against Fiorentina. There will be a week rest so it will be Dimarco again. At best he will start against Plzen.

And no. There would have been zero negativity f he had started Asllani and Gosens. And for me the most mindblowing choice is starting Acerbi on the left.

Because while we fulfill our legal obligations they are still legally liable for any payments to us. We need the contract to be legally declared in default for us to not fulfill our obligations - if we decided to stop right now then they could argue the contract was mutually terminated.

Unless the company goes completely bust we should be able to sue for recompense
