Yeah it sucks but then again you have Messi and a worldclass midfield so no worries...
Considering our situation all things went wrong when Moratti&Co decided to hire Benitez and to make the matters worse they didn't reinforce the team. I'm not disappointed though. We can still win the Scudetto (sure if Milan slip) and if not there's always the next season. This season was officially over for me when we signed Benitez. Horrible choice.

If lost games were natural disasters, Inter - Schalke would be the Black Death: It will leave some bad, ugly scars & marks on the club which will take a long time to heal.

I think getting knocked out of the Champions League is the smallest of the damages done tonight. The greatest devastation is the mind fuck effect it will have on the club & players in general. I'm not gonna expect the players to be normal from now on, like nothing has happened. I'm not gonna even expect shit... It's not gonna surprise me at all if we don't manage to win a couple of games in Serie A.

From being the European & world champions & the only team in the competition defending the Italian pride, we have turned to a fucking joke which folks will laugh about even years after this.

This is not my inter, this is a nightmare...We conceded 5 goals from a crap team named Schalke...if we concede 5 goals from Dortmund, i could understand but from Schalke we cant have excuses...

i hope Moratti sacks Leo now... He is a loser in big games, i remember his Milan last season, who lost 7-2 to United in CL... Same typee of mistakes...There was Bonera and now Chivu... i lost my patience with him, i hope we sell him and we get a quality left full back...

We slowly slowly rejuvante the squad, Ranocchia is a nice step for it...but was not enough. we all miss Samuel, with Lucio, Ranocchia,
we just need a world class left full back. we cant sign one more CB at that calibre cuz we will have Samuel, Lucio and Ranocchia fully fit next season...

i hope we dont sign Ganso... hope we sign A.Sanchez, who is now a hit and a lot more expensive than before... Maicon doesnt even have a vice...

We need quality midfielders, We need quality wingers...A.Sanchez will be one of them hopefully...inter needs to change...

Above all, We need a coach who is at inter's calibre, no Leo no Benitez please...

I really don't think Deki's presence would have changed squart. IN all honesty I was pissing my pants when I saw that midfield trio; coz alongside Pandev, Matrix & Cordoba, that trio has been the worst performers so far this season.

it will definitely affect the players...esp young frog and julione...I don't know how they'll be when they face them again next week...go all attack is the only option we have...something like this perhaps..

I know all of you are going to call me an idiot or not a true fan because of this, but I really cannot believe some of the stuff I am reading on here. I am completely depressed about not only this loss, but also the one on Saturday, but some of you guys are really disgusting.

Saying awful things and poking fun should be reserved for the teams you hate, yet some of you say worse things about Inter than you do about Milan or Juve. I can understand it I guess, because to some extent my father is like that. If that makes you feel like a true fan then that is great, but I was in Milan for the Champions League final and I know that those 100,000 fans who cried with joy are now crying with sadness or anger, but I doubt any of them would rip apart this team and its players like some of you have tonight.

I guess you can add me to the list of people for you guys to bash or trash (sorry Luka, I had to) but I will take this loss as I did when we were embarrassed in the past and remain hopeful for the future, because I know that even a 5-2 loss to a shitty German team is acceptable if it means I get to have that feeling I had in Milan in the future.

Pissed about this terrible performance by the boys, but I love this club too much to simply toss them aside and disregard any future successes. I promise we will look back on this thread sometime in the future and laugh that some of us ever said that this team was headed for the dark ages...

It has been a really fucked up season, but all we can do is hope for something better next year...

That was one of the luckiest win I've ever witnessed, since we pretty much assraped you for 80 minutes. Thanks to fucking Fortuna and an abysmal Bayern defense you got through. Our season was fucked from the beginning and I wouldn't have fancied us against Schalke or Donezk to be honest.

But you guys lost because you thought Schalke were pushovers! Instead the world got to see one of the most embarassing defeats of a reigning champion against a 10th placed Bundesliga team. I fucking loathe Schalke, but after seeing your fucking arrogant behavior before this match I was enjoying every minute of this game.

I would put Deki behind Wes. Then Wes and Eto'o have free roles behind Milito. First half gonna be 2-0 if we could get it right. The problem now is.. DOES ANYONE HAVE LEO's PHONE NUMBER??

I think alot of people are just spoiled. I hate how after reading some of this people are saying "SACK LEO" or "SELL __" after a loss. Yes, this is a bad season, but we need to keep our heads up. It's unfortunate what has happened, but I agree that we must remain faithful with this team till the end of time.
