Cesar; Zanetti-Rano (he once was talented, so he can't be useless now, just need playing time to become decend with Samuel)-Samuel-Chivu; Guarin-Poli-Obi; Alvarez; Milito-Pazzini (he was a beast, he will become a beast again!)
This is how it should be in my opinion :eek:blivious:

I don't, just don't understand, why on weekend it was Poli to be changed and now it is Guarin also who has to watch on bench. If the predicted line-up is to believe (and judging by last two games, Strama doesn't seem to hide his plans from Gazzetta spies.. which means the predicted line-up is likely the be correct).

Our worst crisis was with Stankovic, Cambiasso, Palombo and Zanetti playing in midfield. Not with Guarin and Poli... we still are yet to see them actually play a proper game together.

I'm sort of disappoitned with Strama on that matter, I thought he had more balls, but at the moment he seems to be very much in love with the oldies and this is not what we need, esp since the Cagliari result and subsequent Lazio win reduced our chances of CL qualification from roughly 15% to a few.

And even more so considering the fact that one would have to be a completely looeny to believe that we were /are going to win 8 or even 7 games from last 9 with Cambiasso-Stankovic both starting.

Edit: I hope next season, the manager, be it Strama or someone else, won't even have to think about starting Deki and Cambiasso would play a rotation player role.

I was hoping to see Alvarez as a CM or at least AM but as a winger? Let's watch and see what he can do.

If you remember the tim cup, Alvarez was running after the ball and Ignazio Abate was running as well, at same time, and i can say he did run pritty fast( without the ball) but with the ball he is to slow have to be faster

Don't know people are shocked by the constant inclusion of Deki in the starting lineup. Strama is wet behind the ears at the managing thing (especially professionals) and we all know who truly rules the locker room at this point. An inexperienced manager isn't gonna come in and bench the old guard and risk alienating them. Not when there's still the very slight possibility of European football next season. And lest we forget, his job is hardly secure. It's the same all over the world in any team sport. Managers/coaches will often fall back and rely on the veteran players who have won big games and trophies.

I've never fully agreed with that concept but it is what it is unfortunately.

Fire Strama ?????????? or did you mean fire Deki ?
well, stankovic just won't go, we've changed what? four managers after mou? at this rate, it's better fire the coach until one has the balls/senses to not play the damn guy.

If we don't win this, Strama should be fired.

since stramaccioni was hired a lot of people seem to have forgotten that inter have only won twice since mid-january, and think that since ranieri isn't here anymore inter will magically start beating smaller teams without any major problems

but the truth is that the squad still sucks ding dong donkey dick, the defense is still way too slow to react and the old defenders seem uninterested most of the time, we only have 1 in form striker who is going to be 33 in two months and who can only get ~3 chances per game because all of the playmakers are either injured or loaned out

even the midfield which is the most promising part of the squad with poli obi and guarin is still missing a player that can properly keep possession and not misplace passes, which is the only reason stankovic keeps starting

bottom line is we still suck, and as far as i know stramaccioni is still undefeated, so stop acting like you know better than him unless the team starts under performing, which at this point is only a step above relegation

I like Obi on the wing. He is fast & has the ability to move forward with the ball on the flanks. The thing with Deki & Cambiasso y'all are talking about is only temporary in my opinion, cuz as soon as Sneijder is back, he will get his trequartista position & the midfield can't be flat anymore. So I strongly believe we will switch to a 4-1-2-1-2 which is basically a sort of 4-3-3.

My wish for the first team + a nice bench for the midfield with Guarin, Alvarez, Coutinho: :work:

Stramaccioni has said in his past two press conferences that there isn't much room for rotation right now. So why is he replacing our most consistent midfielder this year (Poli), with Guarin, and apparently now Obi as well?

Not a bad line up if what GDS are reporting is true (Alvarez and Obi starting, Forlan out) now if only we could replace Deki with Guarin/Poli, come on Strama!

Zanetti will play his 570th game in Serie A today against Siena. He would be tied with Dino Zoff for 3rd place behind Pagliuca (592) and Paolo Maldini (647).
