Played next Wednesday, 9 February, in Como at 1430 CET.

I don´t see the logic of playing this match by pressing it into an already busy schedule. Pointless. However, maybe we won´t use the backbone of the team and hopefully instead give players like Karagounis, Davids, etc. a fair chance to gain match fitness. Youth players could be given chances here too. It´ll certainly be interesting to learn what plans we have for this project.

I doudt it ZEnga is an Inter legend and he still Loves Inter. He would whack them if they tryed injurying his favourite clubs players in a friendly.

It will only be our reserve team playing all the main players will be away on international duty.

We have done this a lot of times before, mid-week friendlies when the international friendlies were held. And of course, this is very sensible. If our starters, who should play on mid-week for their respective NTs, are unavaliable, the back-ups has gotta step up and they have very little match fitness currently. You have to realise that this is just a friendly and not a competitive match. I'm sure Mancio will involve some Primavera players in this contest as well.
