Some videos with Pizarro things? here in israel they only showed Bilan and Gobbi, when Adriano scored an hattrick... what a miss, i hope they will lean to appreciate Inter games because inter got a lot of fans here in Israel, maybe Milan more but still... good game is a good game.

An okay match. Our defence wasn't tested, nor was Julio Cesar. Treviso are surely going to be relegated. But who can blame them? Bar from the Filippini a$$holes, they have signed a team to play in the Serie B.

Fantastic goals from us though. Especially the second and third. Pizarro is one freaking genius, and that he passed at that moment was so unselfish.

Figo had an okay debut, even though I'm sure people are getting an orgasm seeing a world-class player in our lineup. But he wasn't crap nor great. He made some silly mistakes, but he also shows commitment and good crosses.

I think Recoba could have had a fantastic match if it weren't for that Adriano still plays too defensive. Adriano can play this way especially with Martins, who can play as the top striker. Recoba can't, so there were times where we weren't a threat. Especially on crosses. Other than that, Adriano was outstanding today.

All in all, this was rather easy and we played good football. We can't know for sure how good we are, because Treviso sure wasn't that kind of opponent to measure that.

I thought Treviso were a threat, and so did the commentators. They predicted that they won't relegate, which I think they can achieve if they play like today.

What I liked most about Figo was when he lost a ball, he went back and covered in defence in the same play, which was great. That's one of his hallmarks, and something VDM could never ever do.

About Figo, Scarpini said that he went back to help out the defence, even with headers. That's a great thing, especially if you consider that he's replacing VD Meyde, who was basically useless in defence.

Yeah, he used to go back and defend, although it was clear he was lacking in fitness.

I think this match just confirms why we are all so excited about this season, this team really seems to be solid in so many different ways. It wasn't as if Imperatore scores gols out of nothing, he was set up by others and finished flawlessly. It was very inspiring to watch us have an idea in front of opponents, and it isn't as if we won on pure talent either - Mancio had our boys with a very clear idea of what it'd take to win. Some could become foolish and say that our questions in defense have been answered, but the truth is we have yet to be tested and neither was Julio Cesar. If I could go into full details, I woiuld but I unfortunately wasn't able to watch most of the second half due to some poor weather down here (damn after-math rain left by hurricane Katrina)

On a couple of good notes, not only did Pizarro look excellent in the limited action that he got but the fact that he could buy and kill time, yet pin point passes and still be a playmaker just makes him such a genius. Before some may dismiss Juan Sebastian Veron (well, I'm talking about Han, not sure about the rest of you :D) but he's really looked great so far this season from working on defense to his vision (he had such an amazing pass to Alvaro Recoba that resulted in him hitting the goal post). It wouldn't be worth my time or mean much if I were to praise our defense (especially Cordoba and Matrix who were pretty active running, and in the air) but I'll wait to see Samuel back and more dangerous attacks from an opponent.

Luis Figo is out of rhythm. But, he did beat his man and have a few good runs as the game went on. I'd like to see him pass the ball a little more often, though. Stankovic didn't leave much of an impression on me, but I did miss around 30 minutes. Cambiasso was all over the pitch today, and didn't win as many of the loose balls as you'd usually expect him to win he was still rock solid. Besides Veron and Adriano, probably our third best player on the pitch. Our forwards (Adriano e Chino) weren't sharp together, but talent will do against teams like this. It just doesn't seem like the same old Internazionale, but then again.. I say this to myself every year.

I'm a little in euphoria right now because it is my birthday, so please excuse my huge optimism.

Good game. I only caught the second half on stream (SopCast>Football live) and I was impressed.

I was most impressed by Figo, I don't know why I should be surprised, I mean it is Figo but he oozes confidence and this brings confidence into the team. Inter look so much better and composed with a Figo in their team rather than a van der Meyde. He combined well with Zanetti too. And was trying so hard, he was everywhere.
Pizarro is a genius. Veron was composed. Cambiasso was Cambiasso. Matrix and Cordoba were special. Favalli was probably our worst player (and he wasn't bad) he just had a few missed passes with Stan and was troubled a bit on his flank.

Good game. I just hope that Adriano doesn't turn into the Adriano of last season after his hat-trick against Messina.

Well done. 37 more.

no more cambiasso ??????
he s the best man in our mid he s a fighter winns many bals and makes few mistakes!!
and even is involved int the forward moves...
Sorry but c.zantti is never as god as cambiasso is without cambiasso our mid would nt be as good when it come s to defending

haha, you´re joking..cambiasso is a slow ass, he´s behind is opponents to easy because he so slow...Cristiano Zanetti dominates him totally...please, dont talk about it.

Figo, what great crosses, incredible, so much class from Figo.

Maybe Cambiasso doesnt have the defensive ability (ie. tackling) that Cristiano Zanetti has, but his got amazing positioning and the best mentality. If you ever need somebody to give 100% game in game out you know he will always deliver.

So Cambiasso can never be left out unless we need to rest him etc..

After reading this topic through, my only chance was to start downloading the match. Couple of hours and then. Sounds like it's worth it.

Forza Imperatore!!

A hattrick in the first match of the Serie A. What more can you say about this guy. Man, am I glad that he is an Inter player. A great result for the first game of the season. Although the opposition was very much weaker than us, 3-0 still is a very nice scoreline. Pizzaro did very well to set up Adriano for his third goal. Excellent dribbling.

Forza Inter!! :star:
