tbh, you'd see them given, BUT as I understand it (didnt see it live) the ball transitioned back to one of their players anyway so the phase of play was over, thus making it irrelevant

To me, the Venezia player jumps after Dzeko and ends up almost head butting Dzeko’s elbow, rather than being hit by it.

Anyway, irrelevant. Ball entered a different phase of play and goal should stand regardless if the ref didn’t deem it a foul at the time.

Can’t believe Brozo or Lauti didn’t get a yellow, the ref was so card happy.

Despite playing like shit, we emerged from a month of fire with 4 wins and a draw against Atalanta, not to mention a trophy. Things could have decidedly gone worse and I think we can safely say that our usual January meltdown has been averted.

Can't believe we had a great month in January with lots of tough games. We ended the month with all wins except the away game against Atalanta.

Given that we played 120 minutes for two times in this cycle, I just hope our players dont play too much in the international break.

Happy to see many our fringe players got minutes this month. Also Dzeko broke the duck at perfect time for the tough schedule in February

Gobbo and Milan cried to Dzeko imo are clear explanation why this league is meh sometimes.

Except Dumfries, that as for now he's in a much better shape than Darmian, Vecino made the difference. When we played with our regular midfield, it was comfortable for Venezia. None of them run into to box and became a target man that can make the defenders confuse. Vecino done exactly that. Every time he got the ball, he passed and did a movement into the 16 box.

Since Vecino came in, we were much more dangerous. It doesnt mean i think he should be a starter, but as long as he's here, he should play before Gags. In the summer we'll get Fratessi.

Was interrupted yesterday, just watched second half...jesus christ that was rough. We are clearly tired and this could go really ugly without some reinforcements upfront. Thank god mentality is still there and we are capable to win games like this.

Let's hope Džeko is out of his big slump cause we will need him without Correa.

Good observation. The only way to score the goal yesterday was a header, so Inzaghi decided to leave Dzeko and Perisic on the pitch, subbed on Dumfries and Vecino. Alexis and Dimarco also was subbed on in order to provide the crosses.

We’ve gained 16 points from losing positions in Serie A this year, mentality is still absolutely there and it’s massive.

Remember when we only managed to turn 2 (!!!) games around in Spalletti’s first season

the only thing i didn't understand is why Inzaghi let's Vecino in and not Sensi, specialy after the Empoli game.
That a question that you can ask at almost every game of this season..
The fact that sensi going to leave while we still have that clown is fucking unbelievable...
