You're probably not factoring in the significant decrease in CL revenue in that? There will be some reduction because of plusvalenza but we've also taken on some cost eg pavard frattesi sommer Thuram

I never ran the exact numbers but with some mental accounting i think our squad cost wages+amortization got slightly reduce VS last year... even if we increased it it would be by a minimal amount...
We missed out on 38mio in CL price money plus two home games so pretty much in the ballpark of these 50 mios...
Plus we increased our overall sponsorship by atleast 12 mio...
Add the 70 mio from onana and brozo and i think we should make a profit
Again i might be wrong as this are just ballpark numbers except for the missed CL revenue...

No I’d be happy that we were forced to use youth players.

Klasseens minutes should have gone to Sensi who was great in preseason. Don’t get why we didn’t play him at all this season

The two striker we got are awful and don’t have 5 goals between them. If Lautaro hadn’t went god mode things would be very different. Could have kept one of our youth players and would be better off

Cuadrado….. didn’t make sense other than was a cheap 1 year patch to give youth players time to develop. Also the coach hating youth players…. Could have just kept Bellanova

I’d even go far enough to say even 30m on pavard was kind of a waste. Darmian is just as good and Bisseck developed nicely but I get it you don’t pass up on a chance like him…..

Carboni isn't a random kid anymore. Levels above Esposito Satriano and such. He has an offer of 20m on the table, literally, and rejected as being rated 40m.

One with such rating shouldn't be worse than Sanchez or Arnau. Involve the mentality dinosaur > kid based solely on age please.

Why only league? Inter has more matches to spare than Monza. In total Carboni plays less than Sanchez and less than half of Arnautovic. So without them our kid should have more than enough minutes to develop (not in case of grandpa favoritism of course)

Because there's no guarantee he'd get the time in the CL for example at Inter. There's a big level drop off, let's not forget Carboni is getting some, but not loads, of minutes at a club that is below where Arnautovics previous club, where Arnautovic was basically a starter all last season when not injured

I think people overestimate the step up to being really useful at a club like Inter, and somehow think 500 min at Inter is better than 1000 or 1500 at Monza

Right now our kid is already better than the Austrian. At a team with bunch of relegation teammates instead of Serie A highest scoring partners.

The point is to keep Carboni developing. The more minutes he can get the better, and thus, the more likely he will be useful to us in the longer term.

The reason Bastoni succeeded so well is he broke into the first team quite quickly.
