I think Roma will drop a few points also but I don't think we can win all of our games either... Anyway, lets wait and see.

it's funny how our last scudetos were sealed at an away game at Siena and this year our last game is away at Siena too!

We should give some incentive those teams for collect points against Roma:

-Parma: Jimenez

-Cagliari: Suazo

-Sampdoria: Mancini (is loved by Delneri)

-Chievo: Rivas (for the place of Yepes, same style def :D)

2 birds with one stone.

I'm happy to see some positive vibes from some posters over here because personally I lost hope. We are asking too much from our team in my opinion as it is a tall order to win all our remaining Serie A games, play Barcelona twice in between and play the Coppa Italia final against Roma at the Olimpico.

I don't believe in miracles and I don't think Cassano and co. will stop Roma. Samp will be motivated by Champions League qualification?! So what! Roma are going for the title and they will play at home in front of a packed Olimpico stadium.

I agree with those who said that we lost the title and it wasn't all about dodgy refereeing decision, FIGC and so forth. In my opinion, losing against Roma at the Olimpico was the key to our downfall. The Lazio game will determine whether we will last till the last day of the season or not as I can’t see Roma stopping right now, Cassano, Pazzini, Palombo, Jimenez, Crespo, Biabiany, Bojinov, Jeda, Nene, Cossu, Pellissier, and Luciano will not stop them!

Well, we do play them towards the end of the season, true, but technically the only Scudetto we sealed against Siena was the one in 06-07. In 07-08 they almost cost us the title and last season we already were Champions before playing Siena. We won the Scudetto on TV, whilst watching Udinese beat Milan. Good times.

Iniesta, Messi,
You don't have Zlatan to save you now like he did a few seasons against Parma :p

Just kidding.

My sentiments exactly. I personally think that we will not win the Scudetto this season. There is something different about Roma's mentality this season and this time we will dearly pay for our spring choking form. We have managed to break the CL curse, to perform well in the league from February onwards should be the curse to break next season.

Maybe I'll put some positive spin :D

This is all just "what if", talk, but fuck you :p

What if, we wouldn't win the scudetto in the end if Roma was beaten by Lazio ? What if, we would just go back to the position we were before, when we lost our 12 point advantage. And we all know how it ended.

Maybe, just maybe, this is exactly the way we can win it. Our players because of that, might get all 12 points, that might be crucial, instead of loosing the concentration and some points along the way like it happened in past couple of months, that would eventually copy the situation when Roma overtake us, and which could lead to us loosing it.

What if the situation we are now, will give our players the needed boost, and drive to get the results we need.

4 games is a LOT guys. It ain't the same as the late 90's for example, but 4 games are a lot, especially in the end of the season, when everybody knows this is it. There are no more fuck ups allowed. Milan won scudetto 10 years ago when nobody thought they could just couple weeks before the finish.

We're just 1 point off Roma, and the longer they win, the bigger odds they will loose some points. Our job now, is to be prepared when they do, just like they were prepared when we fucked up our 12 point lead.

Nothing is lost. If we will be playing Siena, and Roma will be leading which still make them being in the top, then we can talk about scudetto being lost.

Have faith ! :)

If we win our four games I'm sure we'll win the scudetto, if we don't then I don't think we will, and then serious questions will need to be asked but I think we'll be the champions.

Oh and by the way, did you know that we haven't managed to win 2 Serie A matches in a row since Inter - Milan (24 Jan 10) and Inter - Cagliari (7 Feb 10)?

The last time we won 5 matches on the trot was from 3 Oct 09 - 1 Nov 09.

First time in 4 years a team can compete with us. Oh well. I think it's 50% 50% right now.

Did you know that Inter won 4 times scudetto in a row, while Roma have won none ? :D

ps. If we would have at least some luck (or to be more precise, not having bad luck), the one Roma has, we wouldn't loose to them in the head to head game, but at least draw. If that happened, we would have now +2 points over them. Luck is a part of the game, I don't blame luck, especially since it is sometimes hard to distinguish luck from skill. I blame some of our games like against Genoa, some of our players, Jose, but also FIGC and refs who wanted to screw us over this season, which was obvious. And what the fuck was this lineup shit. I see papers already forgot about that, while if it happened to Roma or Milan they would be all over that ref.

Having won serie A four times in a row gives us some tranquility. It will not be a catastrophe if we don't make it - not that we won't be mad about it, but it's not like it used to be. Imagine if we were in this situation 6-7 years ago. We would collapse out of pressure (as we certainly did actually). Now we can take it a little bit more easy, which can be our saviour. We'll see.

Luka, like I've said before, I want Inter to win the championship regardless of luck or referee. Period.

Good point bollockologist.

It will be a catastrophe, because we were first, and they were 13 points away from us.

That's terrible yes, but the worst scenario would be if the scudetto will be decided in the last minute of the last game, no matter if we'd concede one or Roma'd score one.

I don't know how you guys would handle it? Depression? End of the world? No more eating?

But still considering the situation let's not forget we've come very far in the CL-competition. And nobody can't suggest that it hasn't affect the leagues' matches.

I'm well aware of that.

I was just bringing up the circumstances, because I am not fan of narrowing the view.

ps. And also wanted to bring up the other stats, because I thought there is the other side of the coin too, to your stats :D;)
