Honestly i don't want him and am grateful he went to Juve and not us spending big dollars.

I've watched him a lot and his opportunities at Juve; he's had a lot and I don't feel like the coach is against him or anything like that. He simply couldn't/cannot handle to pressure of competition v lich-bitch nor the pressure to deliver quality everytime he stepped on the pitch.

Big difference between him and asamoah and surprisingly so as I thought Isla would've been the better player.

here we go even Isla is "failed" because he didnt become juve first team player. if management has the same attitude, then no wonder we're stuck with a bunch of rocchis and mudingayis

when a club buys a player in a position they have no need for, then the player's reluctance to ingrate is due to poor management, not the players' abilities

What the hell are you going on about? Isla was bought to compete (and beat out) lichtsteiner for the RWB position. Any reasonable person who watched serie A last season would easily assume that Isla would do that without a problem.

However, that is not what has happened. Isla has been given tons of opportunities but the pressure has been too much for him to handle. Isla is still a good player but his weak mentality would make me caution a bit. Maybe he's good at smaller clubs with less pressure like Udine v top clubs with high pressure to perform like Juve are now.

Isla was way better than Asamoah for Udinese...

He didn't get enough chances bro. He played 700 minutes or 11 games, only 4 full games, 2 vs. Nordsjaelland and in the cup.

Even our Coutinho played more than him :D Not to mention he was injured when he went there, so his time to settle has been hard.

Rube-Lazio just ended in 1-1. Not a bad forecast for Lazio. :)

I dont think Llorente will be that good for them. He is good player and definitely and upgrade over Matri, but still. he will earn 5 mils + bonuses, and he is not THAT good. I wanted him at Inter since he was free, but never expected his wage will be more than 3, 3.5.

:palm:

When will you guys stop drinking stupid Inter mgmt kool aid always worrying about wages? Inter mgmt has drilled this wages thing hardcore to the point where fans are now worrying about wages before worrying about player talent/contribution. Wages are a reflection of the market, period. Players are being paid more, there are more teams that can afford wages and you cannot escape it. You might escape it temporarily, but once a player performs, you're going to either have to pay them or they'll leave.

4.5mil/year for 4 years for a free player is NOT A BIG FUCKING DEAL ON THE BOOKS. You don't get rewards without taking risks. And imo, this is not even a high risk for them to take. He's in peak age and has PROVEN he can play in very technical systems (which Juve has right now). Whether or not he is a bust, we'll see. I don't think he'll be a bust at all, but I hope he is for our sake.

Pretty soon, we'll be a poor man's Arsenal; low wage team minus a good youth system and top youth coach....or we'll just be a mid level serie A team with old players on low wages

not that big deal, but still too much. Good thing - he is free, so its not big of a deal. But it's still too much. 5+bonuses? Nah...

He hasn;t proved anything tbh... He has been decent, but that's it, decent player. He had great 2011/2012 season and that's it. He has never scored 20+goals in La Liga despite playing 35+ games. He isnt assisting and is rarely involved in the buildup play. Scores in average once in 3 games, which is not that much for classic #9 in relatively open league such as La Liga.

IMO, Lisandro Lopez will be bigger signing for them. Good for us, he is 30, and Llorente is 28.

edit: As i said, he is good, great player, but would've never succeeded at Inter. He is more technical version of Pazzo. We will see how it goes at Juve. Im not disappointed that he didnt came or anything, but im disappointed we go for players like Rocchia.

Unfortunately too many things refers to the latter.

If this would have been a youth project Inter had come out and stated that COutinho isn't for sale. The reality is that this is cost cutting project and everyone is for sale at the right price. And when Sneijders price is 7,5 million...

If we're "cutting costs" though, it doesn't make sense to sell Coutinho when he's earning close to nothiing compared to the rest of the squad.
