I know bandiera has a different way of thinking and he's super critical and pessimistic, that's not really why I dislike him now, it's what was actually said in these previous 2 pages of this thread.

I hope Milan reach the final. Serie A cannot survive another season with Sampdoria (or Spezia!) fucking everyone on co-efficients.

Neither with a BBilan investing €90m and still being mediocre as shit doing that.

lol roma fans are celebrating, hoping they can get their coach sacked.

Two years ago they had him on a pedestal ready to win the Scudetto. Without a healthy, younger Totti, they are just an average team. He was the key to Garcia's success, without him Garcia will be going back to Ligue 1.

I think this is a stupid comment. Two years ago they had Benatia who was the best CB in the league, and they had Strootman who is one of the very best midfielders in the league. Totti being younger is a factor, but he certainly wasn't the "key" to their success.

I believe if right now they had a fit Strootman, and if Castan hadn't have had his issues they would be a significantly better side.

I also think the fact that they've got a defence consisting of a Frenchmen, a Greek, a German, an Italian, and a Polish keeper who mostly have never played together before this season has, and is causing issues. At least with our new defense they all speak Italian, Spanish, or Portuguese.

As long as you know that it's stupid. Because Roma hasn't scored 30 times in the league this season or anything, and their recent lack of goals definitely hasn't got anything to do with injuries to Salah and Gervinho. And everybody knows that their defensive problems are down to missing Totti. Because those fantastic first time passes are what keeps the opposition from scoring.

I wouldn't be shocked to see Manolas leave in the January window; didn't he have a massive falling out with Pjanic after the BATE game? I remember him being linked to Chelsea in the summer. Rudiger and Digne are also very inexperienced players relative to most Serie A defenders, which I'm sure doesn't help.

Also, I'm 90% sure off the top of my head Roma don't have an Italian defender unless I'm losing my mind? Regardless, your point is a valid one.

Florenzi has been played more as a full back than in the midfield since last season.

Roma would have been better off keeping Romagnoli instead of signing Rudiger.

Roma would have been better off keeping Romagnoli instead of signing Rudiger.

True from a sporting sense, but these two are chalk and cheese from a financial point of view - not even comparable. Romagnoli was sold for close to €30m. Rudiger was acquired for €4m, with an option to buy for €9m. If Rudiger flops, Roma can always send him back.

In the books, the difference is even bigger because the €30m for Romagnoli was all profit - which means that Roma could have got 3 Rudigers for that money and still show a healthy profit from the transaction this year.

I agree with you there, same can be said for the money they gained from selling Bertolacci. However I'm talking purely from an on the field perspective. They probably could have used both.

I was about to destroy this comment but then I found out it's sarcasm (after I wrote like 10 lines :work:).

- - - Updated - - -

2 facts are straight:

- Roma is mentally unstable right now and even a soft breeze like Genoa can tumble them down
- Their defense sucks if attacked appropriately. We didn't because we didn't even try (we were worried about Salah and Gervinho).
