Fiorentina has a pretty easy schedule I think. If we manage to beat Roma and hope they lose some points in other matches while we don't, it's possible.

I think playing teams in the relegation zone this time of year can often be extremely difficult. Frosinone and Verona especially seem to be putting in huge efforts in their games. I expect Udinese to start pulling finger if they slip closer to the zone too.

Whereas playing teams in that mid zone which don't have anything to play for are the easiest games. Chievo, Atalanta, Torino etc

Report: Palermo get Novellino
By Football Italia staff

Reports suggest Walter Novellino has agreed to become Palermo Coach until the end of the season.

The Rosanero have had a chaotic season, even by their standards, and current Coach Beppe Iachini has handed in his resignation after a furious row with President Maurizio Zamparini.

Former Sampdoria boss Novellino admitted earlier today that he was hoping to take over on the Barbera bench, and now Sky is reporting that a deal has been struck.

The tactician will take over until the end of the season, as he seeks to save Palermo from relegation, with the club just one point above the drop zone.

Counting caretakers, Novellino will become the seventh different man to take charge of the Rosanero this season, following Iachini, Davide Ballardini, Fabio Viviani, Guillermo Schelotto, Giovanni Tedesco and Giovanni Bosi.

How funny is that. Back to back posts. I mean did the guy even see the dressing room? What a circus, and now Zamperini has the never to claim he's the victim here. Someone's missing a huge reality show opportunity right here.

Shit nevermind I got trolled

That's what I get for just reading headlines.

Iachini explains the reason behind leaving Palermo
http://www.italianfootballdaily.com/iachini-explains-reason-behind-leaving-palermo/

The circus at Palermo continues, as Iachini steps aside again.

At this point, the coaching role of Palermo has returned to it’s usual status quo – complete and utter chaos.

Interviewed by Premium Sport, Giuseppe Iachini explained his decision behind leaving the Rosanero for the second time this year.

“With Zamparini there wasn’t any sharing [ideas] of a project. I have dignity as a man and as a professional. The criticism these last few days has been overly exaggerated. And also Zamparini has known me for two and a half years, it’s strange yet he doesn’t have an idea about how I play. For this, I’ve left. I’ve been hurt, then fought and argued with a 75 year old man. For this I decided to stop the discussion. I hope that Palermo isn’t relegated, and I hope that for the fans and for the players.”

I'm torn between thinking Iachini is a fool or a smart man. On the one hand you keep going back to a man who fires you repeatedly. On the other you're guaranteed a job for doing far less work than needed and get some pay while you're not the manager.

Iachini: I have dignity as a man and as a professional.

Sure you do. Why else would you go back to Palermo if not for their dignified and professional environment?

Iachini is as much a clown as Zamparini.Did it take a second hiring on the same team in the same year for him to realise he didn't share any ideas of a project with Zamparini? What did he expect to change since his first firing?

Needed a place to vent...

I'm so tired of reading articles with the opinions of arrigo sacchi. Why doesn't this dude just stfu? He had one successful stint @ Milan. Was ok with italy. TERRIBLE in his return to Milan, going to Atletico e.t.c.

Why does the italian media give this man so much credence?

FUCK....

Most likely he was still under contract, so it was his obligation to go back. Why else do you think Zamparini keeps getting the same coaches back? Because his first option is to look at the coaches still under his payroll.

A Y&h reminder: Juve vs Sassuolo is in 1 hour and 15 mins. Should be a nice match with hopefully Juventus losing some points.

Sassuolo have repeatedly picked up points against big sides, but almost exclusively at home. Although, Juve might be pre-occupied with there next match against Bayern. Plus Dybala has lost a bit of his form recently

Expect a 1 nil win from them with a goal from Barzagli or something
