My understanding is it would go on head-to-head between the three in a mini sort of league.

Inter 5 points Goals 4-2
Roma 5 points Goals: 4-5
Lazio 1 point Goals: 1-2

The only way it could happen is if we draw with Lazio which would mean us finishing third.

I might be wrong and it may go strictly on goal difference but I'm 90% sure the above is true.

All things considered, it's highly improbable because it would mean both Lazio (including today's result) and Roma having to draw their last three remaining matches and us win next week.

I too watched Lazio and the really good news - besides them dropping 2 points - is that they really looked out of gas. Especially in the final 15 minutes, they didn't even have the strength to push forward in search of the winning goal. They just settled for the draw, and were very lucky to get it. But all this won't matter unless we beat Sassuolo next Saturday.
